It will be insensitive, irrational and unfair of me to expect an Arsenal win against City(sadly, that is our reality). With that being said, I expect a better showing considering our form, momentum and the fact that we are more rested than City.
I want to see us have a go at City’s defense and push them back at different stages of the game. I would hate to see us sit deep for 90 minutes and still lose by 4-0,5-0! Have a go at them even if we lose, I am okay with it.
Will I take a W? Absolutely! It will make for a great start to the year.

Partey will be going to AFCON in January, Mustafi will joining Egypt for the tourney as well leaving us with less options in the middle of the park.

Personally I feel we should be getting a CM/DM wether on temporary basis or full signing . This should be our priority even before talking of getting a striker , if not most of the good fortune that has smiled on us of recent will mean nothing . Our case is better than Loserpool who would be losing their key men and finding other players to step into their shoes will be a big ask.

For the best young player, what is the criteria we are looking at? Is it just their age or when they broke into the team ?Cos a player like Saka is just 20 and qualifies to be called "young", but having played 2 straight years of top level football one might be tempted to overlook him for this category.

1. Best player - Saka( have this guy ever flopped for us? I can't recall)

2. Best young player - Saka (undoubtedly)

3. Best goal - I'll say Pepe's goal against wolves. Beating two opposition player(plus a nutmeg) and curling in with his weaker foot. A great goal.

Special mention is Gabriel's goal against Olympiakos(Europa), and Tierney goal against West brom.

4. Best fan on this thread - Well, I think everyone was great but I'll give it to daveP and Kbs468. Their frequent update in anything concerning arsenal is refreshing and makes this thread moving as well as giving room for discussions
