My opinion tho is that we should just change the criterion sha. Most people here(I'll even say 80%) don't watch the youth football so we might just vote based on hype or hearsay. Even sallah sef, na d first time I dey hear am. Patino, na the first time I see am wen we play carabao, tho I've heard his name frequently this season. Balogun, the few times I watched him play, he didn't impress me even tho I believe he's still transitioning. Azeez is even on loan too(I don't know that counts sef).

I just feel we should change it as best player coming through the academy like most people initially understood it

Best Arsenal player- Aaron Ramsdale, while players like Gabriel and Tomiyasu deserve some mention for how defensively solid we've been of recent, Ramsdale's heroic performances has really helped us this season. In fact, I've been unable to really point out one match he had a bad game. His form has also rubbed off on Leno who was erratic last season; now any match Leno plays he also tries to be at his best which is good thing for the club


2. Best Young player (youth players only)- Smith-Rowe has been phenomenal this season, its no news he's our best player this season.

3. Best goal-Odegaard's freekick goal vs Burnley; that goal too sweet!

4. Best fan on this thread- kbs468. Though he was away for some time but his constant updates, team news, etc has helped to bring back life to this thread. He's appreciated for this.
