I think this carnival is very unique. Love it already. Not sure if there's ever been any like it in the world which explains for its spectacular brilliance, if well supported and branded, can become world class and a huge tourist channel for the state hosting it as many people in the world embraces bicycle. Things like BMX extreme sports started somewhat like this. Usually we have great ideas but the finishing touches we put into it are mostly mediocre giving the Europeans the idea they are superior to us. They outclassed us in the organizational aspect. Ordinary crowd control is a big flaw here 2 Likes |

Why the Igbo attire? I thought Ikwerre migrated from Bini or Isiokpo not one of those migrants? Confused clan of four Nigeria local government areas. 2 Likes |

What has a bicycle got to do with it when they can't make a spoke. Most times nigggers do things without having a clue of why they do them and that is why are always lagging behind. One can understand why oyinbos would want to do that kind of thing because they have followed the trend of wheel inventions from day one to this day of manned and unmanned spacecrafts in galaxies. |

Landlord97:You can't transfer curse to me. You are below me. Sea doesn't flow from lowlands to uplands. Today you have agreed with me that Ikwerre and Igbos are brothers? This has been my argument all this while. We are brothers no doubt but not the other. Ikwerre is not Igbo just as Igbo is not Ikwerre. We are no lost people that someone would wake up to define where we come from. Right from time Ikwerre man has always been proud of his Identity. No amount of misinformation can change this. We are Iwhurnohna. I am kpokwem diali. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Tranquill: No what's not funny is you not being proud and comfortable with your own outfit or your fulani outfits but wearing mine without credits. When will you ever be comfortable in your own skin? Soup no sweet, yet your dirty fingers no commot from soup pot... nawaooh! Tomorrow una go still wear ishi agu for ikwerre cultural exhibition with no credits to the real owners. PS: I am not among those charlans that say ikwerre is igbo,. Ikwerre no be Igbo, ikwerre na fulani...but then act accordingly. #peace |

chrisxxx: One thing I would never do, is to argue with my eyes! If what I am seeing isn't an illusion, then I believe. And I will not insult anyone to prove points anymore, "Igbo-Ikwerre" is the most laughable term I've come to see in this new year. Nwayọ nwayọ Ọ! |

brainycaleb: Which one is igbo-kwerre? This is fulani-ikwerre. Unfortunately, they are not even proud of their cultural outfit. Wearing my outfits at their cultural exhibition without credit, is identity theft. Oga make them wear fulani outfit...not every Igbo man desires to have ikwerre people as our brothers. newswires: Identity theft is when you are fulani, not Igbo, but wearing Igbo cultural attire at your cultural exhibition, without credits to the real owners Ikwerre is not Igbo, and can never be. And while you're free to wear any tribe's attire during your cultural exhibition, do so but give credits to the real owners. You are NOT IGBO, let that sink into your skull. 2 Likes |

Landlord97: Oga you get time to waste. As an igbo man, we're most proud of ourselves, culture and heritage. We no send anybody. I, as a proud Igbo man do not, and will not beg or even ask anyone to be Igbo. My issue with this post is, why using prominent igbo cultural attire as your official dress at your cultural exhibition without giving credits to the real owners since it's not yours? What happened to ikwerre attire? It's a harmless question am asking ooh You say soup no sweet, why are your fingers still in same pot of soup? 1 Like |
