You are ignorant mind, Fowler when he was FIRS boss he was manipulating the system to favour his region
You are a shameless liar.. The conjecture you are using as evidence is even saying 'may'.. The report allegedly claimed he wasn't collecting enough tax from the south west . Even with the alleged undercollection of tax in the SW, the region still trumps others . . How's that related to your Kano noise which you claim was probably inflated?? Are you dyslexic , deliberately dumb or mischievous ![]() You don't need to lie to drive home your point |
He manipulated the system to favour his people, that's Nigeria for you, please is the VAT in Yoruba land being generated only by your tribe , major importers in Anambra and Abia use Lagos ports, major travellers from the East are using Lagos airport, majority of the markets are controlled by Igbos in Lagos, all the bank head offices use by all Nigerians are located in Lagos, transportation sector both land and air are dominated by Igbos, same with other sectors.
mugu always writing trash who force your father to use Lagos port,is their no sea port in onne or not international airport in portharcout,Enugu or abuja?put stay in your barrel region nobody drag you to Lagos.I think you are also helping in generating vat in Oyo, a state with no international airport or sea port still generating highest vat after Lagos and portharcout. you need to get a life clown |

Beejayy20:Quit what you have been drinking the topic wasn't a comparison between the two states I made reference based on my experience, Ogun state might be a big state and I don't claim to have all data but if you are wise you should come more reasonably than jumping in with a sentimental vibes hence I decided to tackle you |

You should stick to posting pictures on nairaland . That doesn't need so much brain power to do |
Anambra alone has bigger economy than Kano markets and industries, reason why this country is stagnant because we are not frank to ourselves, how can Kano generate more VAT when three states are oil-producing states, 6 breweries alone pay huge amount to Federal government or the breweries doesn't list states generating those VAT Each commercial bank branches pay huge VAT to FG Anambra alone top Kano in numbers of commercial bank branches, let alone all the branches in southeast, same with airlines
You are ranting How much oil are we talking about exactlyAll these village ilo logic does not cut it Anambra is a shithole |

Blakjewelry:Let us not personalize this Try and discuss rationally without sentiment If you reflect on it that is a foolish and irrelevant question Give facts, figures and a credible source Not anecdotes of who has done what, this is a faceless forum |

Beejayy20:Displaying fabricated figures deceiving gullible ones like you, please can you show me what Oyo state government achieved last year let us compare with my state, I guess that should be key point I believe, IGR is use for providing infrastructure not to feed rascals right? Show me what they did with high IGR you claimed they generated |

Beejayy20:They claimed to generate high IGR just to be able to borrow money from local and international leaders, that's why states in your region top in debt with nothing to show for, if truly they generate high IGR they claimed they should be leading in providing infrastructures in Nigeria when your states are dead ![]() |

aribisala0:You decided to ignore the question yet you still talk about sentiment, fact and figure. Which figure could be more accurate than your personal experience. Though I have to admit I have not been to Ogun state for some couple years and the data coming are good no thanks to Lagos state being overwhelmed, if one is to be accused of sentiments its you because I am not even from the east rather speaking from experience. |

Does the screenshot corroborate your accusation of him manipulating figures? Has new data from FIRS disputed the SW being the region with the highest VAT contribution? |

Blakjewelry:Personal experience? You do not sound like you went to school. Who cares where you have been? Who are you and why does your opinion matter to me? We are talking of statistics, facts, figure and you are talking about personal experience That is just another tactic to muddy the waters and create another irrelevant argument It is a foolish and illiterate beer parlor question 1 million people will have 1 million experiences It is totally irrelevant The issues are these 1. What is the definition of Industrialization and 2. How is it measured |

VAT is the biggest IGR earner of every state and it goes directly to FG. How do you expect states with bigger IGR build infrastructures with money that are being redistributed to beneficiary states like Anambra that generates meagre unsustainable IGR.Anambra had to take a loan to build its new airport which has increased its debt burden significantly too. |

aribisala0:All I see another noise maker trying to sound smart.. you are talking about statistical data as if we have any data bank in the country. Because every once in a while some group just push out data without any real data collection you are there in your little hut making noise as if you know shit. You sound pain because whenever comparison is made your tribal sentiment won't let you speak with clear head. |

Pakute:Serious you are empty that's how hooligans you guys elected as governors are playing ludo with your brain, internal generated revenue goes to state without fg interference, value added tax goes to Federal government, you're arguing without knowing the difference Most governors high figures of their IGR to deceive local or foreign lenders to be able to negotiate loans , no system that monitors state IGR even VAT that goes to federal |
