MJBOLT:Rumors for now.... True some elements of it is will manifest but the total erase of the past movies or events is wack. Totally replacing Supes and Batsy with the female characters na recipe for disaster. I think it's a soft reboot, putting the female trinity in the forefront for now...but totally removing the big Two...nah. No one can know for sure till we see Flash.

Chibudollar:Thst just means Colombian music is not that appealing to a wider audience unlike Mexican and maybe Samoan. Takes some of the appeal off the movie. Good story though. |

DrDax:And yet one of the most popular Hispanic musicians is Colombian. That aside, Moana just had the one song where they spoke Samoan and that wasn't even most people's favorite. The rest were familiar Disney fanfare. And also, I'm yet to see the wider audience show a lack of appreciation for Encanto's music. |

Encanto was really good and I enjoyed the story. Disney with their greed filled the movie with songs because Moana and Frozen were successes as soundtracks separate from their movies. The clothes physics were amazing. Similar times I was blown away by animation so good were watching Shrek 2’s upgrade from the first part and Moana’s virtual water. I can go longer to form a review, but nobody pays me here so I’m off to better things. Luisa is my second favourite Disney character after Maui because of their real world builds. Welcome To The Family and Pressure were standout songs for me including the final song at the end, Encanto. Sadly I don’t want to see these characters again whether as a series or sequel because the movie works best as a stand-alone. Disney no go hear word, I believe either a series or sequel are already in development. |
