The chances of Jonathan becoming APC candidate is brighter than that of Ahmed Tinubu.
Reason is simple:
1. South South still has one term remaining
2. His track record shows he could be more trustworthy
3. It's the shortest route for north to return to power.
Meanwhile, in all these, South East has the brightest chance.

What irks people is Tinubu and supporters' insensitivity to the political trends in Nigeria vis a vis zoning and religion.

1) it's not the turn of the SW to produce president of Nigeria. Respect zoning.

2) a Muslim has never succeeded a Muslim president in Nigeria. Same with Christian.
3) because more Yoruba gave votes to Muhammadu Buhari, than other ethnic groups in the south, that's the only claim of Tinubu group to want to distort Nigeria's political trend and make the SW present a successor to President Buhari.
