Less Than 2M according to Wikipedia. As for illegal and undocumented migrants no one can estimate their numbers.

Where do people get estimates? Likely from:
- money wired to Nigeria
- people getting services from NGOs around the world
- visas
- how much money is spent on Nigerian products

What's the estimate of all foreigners resident in Nigeria ? It seems like Nigeria is a net exporter and has few foreigners wanting to migrate there.

Wrong, at least when it comes to the US. The US Census is the primary source for reporting. Secondary sources are the DHH, DOE, etc.
