Anything coming from "dailynews" is something to allow Northerners to masturbate on.
Re: 3 Nigerian Scholars Listed Among Most-Cited Scientists In The World. by israelmao(m):
Let's first of all weigh them by number of articles and books written. To be among the most cited-scientists in the world is not a joke. Not Nigeria, not in Africa,in the world.Let's check the source of this information critically because Google Search is yet to lead me there.

The funny thing about this thread are those my fellow Southerners who don't believe the news because 'it's a hausa man, and as everyone knows , Hausa people are dull'

Yet the same Hausa people who are dull are also clever enough to apparently plot to islamise NIgeria, steal the South's oil money, etc etc...

It's funny watching bigotry on this site...and mind you, it isn't directed against Hausas alone. If the guys were Yoruba or Ibo, some would also be expressing the same opinions.Apparently skull miners and drug barons aren't academic enough

(And yes, I know some people are catching cruise, or using this site as bigotry cathartic therapy...but even then)

High time we gave up this bigotry. Kudos to the three talented mathematicians for their achievement. They have done well, and brought some pride for this country.
Well, people like musicwriter see themselves as slaves ...there are many that can't accept anything good about their fellow Africans because of tribe, speaking English, nationality,...... I see it as a mental disaster ...... baseless comparisons ..... useless accusations..... what a misfortune!

With which IQ?

When you listen to some of the arguments coming out from highly educated northern elites, it is difficult to rate them as intelligent.

Dr Hidima on Twitter is an example.
A supposed PhD holder but with a world view of an almajiri.
Hope you don't waste your time engaging him, because that one is a lost cause

Another case study is Gov El rufai, a supposedly first class holder in Environmental, who suggested desertification as a solution for insecurity. Military bombing Kaduna forest in a drought and famine ravaged North.

So, in your tiny brain, all Nigerian muslims are terrorists?

You need a refund on your education.
No. All Nigerian Muslims are not terrorists, but all Nigerian terrorists are Muslims!

I don't suppose they are in the life sciences.

Rubbish fake news , probably most cited jihadist mathematicians who are plotting the coordinates for ur next bombing
I know you were disappointed when you opened and did not see an Igbo name on the list to service you tribal bigotry!
Don't start this year like this or you will end up with a rope tied around your neck dangling from the ceiling or a tree at the back of your home

That's a great one..they must be on a different level of intelligence..
It isn't actually a very easy feat to be listed among most "cited scientist in the world"..
Meeting one of them would be a great exploit..

We're all equally intelligent given the opportunity and the right tools. It's just that we have a wrong perception of them as a people. Forget citations. These guys have PhD in applied Mathematics.. no be moi moi ooo. The best CBN gov in my lifetime still remains Sanusi. Unlike Soludo that made me lose over a million in 2008-2009, by decieving us with false Economic predictions about the impending Recession in the Western world or is it Emefiele that's being using Dollars to play kalo kalo.... with no decisive economy strategies.

Okay I think this are the sponsors of Terrorists that The president of Turkey Erdogan was talking about..

These guys are sponsored to go school and conspire to topple governments by sophisticated means cause they actually receive large fundings that help organizations groups and foot soldiers through underground links with people back home in Kano

Anyhow I write am just use JTB theory and you will see what I'm talking about

It is not fake but there are more Nigerians on that list, at least I know of two from UNILORIN, there are others from OAU, UI, etc, with a good mixture of all tribes and religions in Nigeria.
Calm down, it's fake. I am not tribalistic but best researchers from Naija are outside naija n they are mostly Yorubas or Igbo. Not these 3 that recently got PhDs.

The level of hatred for Northerners in this country by the Southerners is on another level. Yet, they are always ahead of them. Thank you Allah! Your grace does not select whom to favour by ethnicity, race or religion.

The Hausa/Fulani has stolen and looted our nations wealth because of their propensity to violence and to commit murder not due to their intelligence. If indeed they were smart their region wouldn't rank as one of the world's poorest area.

Why do I feel this is a lie
It is not a lie, but the list has several Nigerians (I think close to 100) on it, majority of them are Southerners (Yoruba and Igbo). The reporter of this news cut out 3 hausas on the list for reasons best known to him.

People who only got their PhD in 2008 are most cited by scholars?
Why don't you also post their research? Coincidentally, they just happened to be from one school too.
