Bt the problem is those movie formats are stagnant and monotonous.

I've watched the movie it's not hella funny as portrayed by this lady...
Too much talk talk, I really enjoyed the funkẹ Akindele, Kate and their aunty scenes

That Movie is crap, it is a long time since I last watched a Nollywood movie as horrible as this. The comedy is not funny, the storyline is wack. The producers think gathering a stars in a movie will makes the movies interesting but this is absolute trash.

So they hire only Posh and celebrities actors and put more attention on Glitz/Glamour, than the actual Acting i. e. Delivery!

They lack real Nigerian originality!

That's why some peeps still prefer the Asaba produced movies!

Let me paint a clear picture for you. The Nollywood movie space is a far cry from Hollywood. Don't make direct comparisons.

Now, see. Typically, Nigerians hype movies, not for its salient qualities. But just to show that they've seen it, or to keep up with the Joneses. They go all bout SM talking about it and putting pressure on others to watch even a mediocre performing art.

Now, an objective person ends up watching same movie that has been kept on a high pedestal, and is left in utter disappointment and sometimes feels betrayed.
This applies to Living In Bondage (remake), King of Boys II, Squid Games, Old Guard, etc.
Some movies were actually worth the hype - Wedding Party, King of Boys I, etc.

OK. The case for Chief Daddy 2 is a deviant from the norm. "Nigerians berated it." Must be a really bad flick then. P.S. I've not seen it. And wouldn't.

Was on set recently and noticed this shiit. Nigerians speaking English with accent that’s neither American nor British and definitely not Nigerian yet they believe they are portraying original Nigerian stories. We are losing originality daily.

Style over substance

This is the worst piece of crap In the history of the fucking world (not exaggerating) it’s horrible at least chief daddy one gave us an in-depth look into inheritance that a lot can actually relate to but this…this was just an obvious cash grab by the washed up worthless Netflix….

And they keep fucking forming American accent it’s a goddamn Nigerian movie why are they using fucking America accent in a Nigerian movie!!!

The movie is 5/5 for me.

I am not even a fan of home movies

The way the movie was hyped made me want to watch it. The acting is not to be compared with the part 1. Part 2 was just a mess up.
But that's naija movie for you anyhow they know, they act

Chief daddy was better off ending at part 1 abeg. Downloaded the part two since on my phone but after watching a few scenes, I lost interest. Abeg, the movie is a disaster especially shaggy and falz's roles
