Hello all. A cousin of mine needs drug rehabilitation to curtail her drug addiction(weed,crystal meth). Her family is considering rehabilitation. Please, will like to have an idea of the costs involved. I enquired from one rehab and was told it is like 1.9 million per 6 months which the family cannot afford. The rest refused to tell me of costs untill she comes for consultation. Are there any cheaper ones? Her location is in Lagos. Any ideas of costs or suggestion for something inexpensive is welcome.

Try Freedom foundation in Lagos. Dr. Tony Rapu helps but don't know how free.

Don't know if this helps but I escorted someone close to me who used Temple's Counsel and Mind Academy's virtual cleansing AA programme for 350/2months but there must be certain things in place before they allow you into the programme.
1)Having an accountability handler who shows up for virtual therapy with you weekly until the end with no excuses. I was emotionally involved in the process and had to answer questions too.
2) Their lead therapist Temple Obike knows everyone by name but asks you to set up a zoom account with no names/pictures just numbered profiles for privacy.
3) if you want a personal session with the lead therapist or their guest local or international doctors, you pay an additional paltry sum less than 15k.
4) You can only join the programme from the beginning or wait for the next batch.
5) Medical history for the client from a reputable hospital and drug use history MUST be submitted.

It was an effective, emotionally tasking AA intervention for us after 4months with doctors,psychiatrists and more invited from time to time. . I learnt a lot during this process and saw first hand the pains drug use causes relatives of users from all over the country. Drug rehabilitation is very expensive because the government are not helping to subsidize this with providing state-owned centers. Good luck and hope you get your person healed.

You might want to try University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital,if you have a family in ilorin,way cheaper and they have good hands there,you won't spend up to 250k feeding inclusive,it's 500 naira per day for bed space,
