Whenever I pass through enugu city,I see the city planning,But the problem be say enugu state na just one city state and lack industries. Also I have friends who live in cross-river and I have watched many youtuble video about the state. Between the both of them,which is more developed? Donald Duke made Cross River State a place everyone dreamed to go. Subsequent governors did not carry on with his legacy. Worst of all, the present governor, Ayade is docile and does not seem to understand anything about governance. If Duke's legacy was preserved, no one here could have had the guts to compare a dirty state like Enugu to Cross River. 3 Likes 1 Share |

OGA,DUKE HAD GOOD PLANS FOR CALABAR TOWN,HE MAINTAINED THE ROADS AND THE STEEET LIGHTS WERE THERE,WHAT OTHER THINGS DID CROSS RIVER HAVE BESIDES THESE.AT THAT TIME CROSS RIVER WAS BENEFITING FROM CRUDE OIL SALES WHICH WAS LATER CEEDED TO AKWA IBOM.ENUGU IS FAR BETTER THAT CROSS RIVER CONSIDERING THE CHANGE YOUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WAS GIVING THEM IN THE NAME OF ALLOCATION. minks: 3 Likes |

If throughly you want to know the answer Enugu Living standard 75% Industries 55% housing 80% Education. 75% Poverty level. 30% Road network. 70% Tourism 65% Cross river Living standard 60% Industries. 45% housing. 50% Education. 65% Poverty level. 55% Road network. 75% Tourism 80% have more things to look after in few places but other part of the state is not same Cross river state and enugu state Enugu state is better than cross river state You can compare Calabar and enugu city but can't compare cross river as a state to enugu state as enugu state is far ahead of cross river state 10 Likes 1 Share |

I visited both states during the administrations of Sullivan and Duke respectively. That period is what I would consider the golden ages in both states. Its not a matter of which was better, both were beauties to behold and unique in thier ways. Since then successive administrations have not really measured up. |
