one of my favorite movies..

Passengers is a truly brilliant movie, it's hard to place it into a genre, but it is very much a sci fi love story. The concept is also a great one..

The idea is very original and very clever, the special effects are breathtaking, and the cinematography is first class. The main trio of actors do a superb job, but it's the dazzling Jennifer Lawrence that stood out for me.

The last duel.... Exceptionally well made movie..
The movie itself is wonderful, then the third and final act further elevates the entirety of the movie...
The last duel is literal as this duel between the two combatants was the last of its kind in medieval France...
In reality, Le Gris never accepted the allegation even in death and it is said(though unverifiable) a felon on his death bed later admitted to the crime.
Marguerite's accusations were played down then by the church and political class and she refused to back down knowing all the things at stake..
I think Ridley shouldn't have shown the scene between Marguerite and Le Gris, he should have left it up to the viewers to decide and make their own conclusions..

Sir, in the movie, the act of rape was clearly committed because consent wasn't given....

As for historically, the case was finally greenlit for a duel after the summer because all available evidence pointed to Le Gris raping her... Medievally, cases like this would be dismissed for the smallest inconsistency, Le Gris's case going ahead to be sanctioned to be resolved via a duel was because the church and political class couldn't find any evidence(no matter how small and inconsequential) to disprove Marguerite's claims....
Infact, the alibi he provided was discarded because Jean Beloteau was also arrested for rape in Paris and charged during the trial...
We can't know for sure the events that transpired in real life though historians believe Le Gris was guilty of the charge but as far as the movie is concerned, saying Marguerite invited the rape and even wanted it doesn't make sense because your headcannon is contradicted in the movie and the book it's adapted from....

Can't be said better. It's the Script and Storyline for me, you can't predict how it's gonna end till you watch the ending yourself.

Not everyone live in Lagos or in a city or town that has a cinema. You can't really blame us.

Some towns don't even have strong network, so Netflix and the likes no go work. Besides, data is still expensive.

None is getting "Best picture" No movie in the MCU past or present can touch "Avengers Infinity war and End game" and those didn't get best picture so i highly that these will. But "Shang Chi and the 10 rings" stand a chance at Best VFX and "Best Film editing"

And did they snuck in "Black Widow" as a joke?? They can submit it for the Golden Raspberry award. It has a better shot at that.

24 is not a movie though.
You may want to check out Alias. It has the same kind of vibe

Ishilove, every time I am bored, a voice would just whisper to me “let’s watch that movie once again”

I’m not exaggerating, I have watched this movie more than 20times since last week.

The facial expression on the face of Randall where Brie told him that “She slept with two former Presidents” is always killing me.

Again, the scene where that Billionaire “Peter Isherwell” bullied & threatened Randall in the presence of the President, telling him “our algorithms can even predict how you’ll die” got me vibrating like a Mikano generator.

I swear down, I just can’t have enough of this movie.

Remember the scene where the Billionaire “Isherwell” was telling them at the cabinet meeting that the Comet contains $140 Trillion worth of assets and the Chief of Staff (Jason Orlean) says “Buck-Forty Trilli” ; omo I just shouted - Sango oooo !

Ishilove, do you know I where I lost it and started jumping? That scene where the President said “You keep your eye on the road ahead, you put your head down. And you put one foot in front of the other, step by step, day by day. Don’t look up!”

I love this movie die! I am fvcking in love with Jennifer Lawrence.

This movie is my all time most favorite but I just felt that Tom Cruise would have done a better job in the stead of Leonardo DiCaprio.

Ishilove, do you think all the buttocks and cooches including that of Madam President shown at the end of the movie in the Goldilocks Zone are real? Omo, mo fo oooo!

I will fight anybody that rates this movie less than 10/10.
