maybe the governor has no legal adviser cos he really goofed big time. He acted very clearly on the side of the residents of the estate instead of appearing neutral, even the governor of ondo who is d Yoruba governor forum leader acted with so much sentiments as if he has a personal beef with malami and the IG |

LadyExcellency:done by past military regime - so it makes sanwo ilu and the current govt less judgement debtors or what are you talking about ... ![]() what is alternative dispute resolution that has no time limit or LASG trying to re-interpret a supreme court judgement whose content is clear - give them land in magodo - not in ibeji lekki or badagry ![]() govt officials are arrested all over the world - except in the black underdeveloped world and thats why you will remain impoverished for life - because you treat issues of law and justice with levity ![]() |

What exactly did the supreme Court judgement in that case say Can someone who has access to it paste it on this thread pls. I've been hearing different versions, one say that the supreme Court instructed the LASG to allocate plots to the shangisha landlords which could be anywhere within Lagos while others say the SC ordered llagos state government to give back the already allocated magodo properties to the owners |

Sanwo Olu is my man but I was dissapointed by his approach. He always Bleep up handling serious issue. I was surprised seen people supporting Sanwo Olu move. Let's forget d main main issue. Is telling CP to call his boss in the face of camera and crowd right? What are u trying to prove, to tell the CP dat his boss is less superior or what? Are u saying u can't address the crowd then send your aid to call d CP for u and talk like a an intelligent person. 12 yrs after supreme court judgement well. |

This goes to show that the governor has limited power in a case where the military (Police and Army) are involved. How then do people think that it was Sanwo Olu who gave the order for the Lekki shooting? What if the order was from the IG himself or the chief of army staff? What if the order was from the Federal Government? |

Tareq1105:Beautiful houses erected on people's land forcefully taken from them? The governor was supposed to have been arrested by that policeman for contempt of court. People like you are the reason why the country is the way it's today. If you support years long injustice, may you never get same when you deserve it. |

Sometime all thee charge and bail lawyer or SAN need slap at the back of their head so all he is saying now is they should arrest the governor for trying to settle issue in his state baa ![]() Sorry IGP or not the governor is the chief executive of his state for goodness sake? And why would police laid a siege on land issue to the point Mallami was involved? If not something hidden somewhere. Is Mallami that jobless? Is that land Fed govt land? Where is the commissioner of Land in Lagos? Does Lagos has no Attorney General or commissioner of justice? I'm sure Sanwo Olu will not just left his office and came there personally if nothing was shady in the police, mallami involvement. And for the CSP challenging the governor, fine you are on ordered duty and you can not disobey your superior officer but next time pls apply wisdom because if you put yourself in between two poitician locking horn you might ends up being used to settle scores then you are gone. |

This Magodo issue, I heard it was Tinubu that give Magodo to the Fulani, in exchange for becoming the president. There are some serious underlying issues we are not even aware of. What do I know? |

The governor did what I expected of him. The litigation is strictly between Lagos State government and the landowners and so sad that it's genesis is way back 1984 during the military era and after then, consistent Lagos governments never look at it properly and fashion out a solution until now. Sanwo Olu is being given kudos by me by the mere fact that he left the comfort of his office and went to the place to settle this issue once and for all. Forget the disrespectful attitude by the CSP or anybody to the governor, most important thing is the fact that no live was lost and an amicable settlement is being worked out presently. The governor prevented all these unimaginable fights and destruction from happening by his presence. I learnt a big lesson by the action of Sanwo Olu.....being a leader doesn't limit you to just comfort alone. Being a leader is sacrifice of comfort and convenience, taking insult from even the most stupid of person. Sanwo Olu left his comfort zone and even threw away all paranaphelia of Mr Executive and came to Magodo to quench the brewing fire that is almost erupted into an infano. Either you accept or not, that Sanwo Olu is a governor I have come to admire first in this brand new year 2022 and every good leader that has his people's interest in mind should emulate that single gesture of standing up when your people are suffering or about to put in a state of suffering. Note: Everybody is justified. The landowners and the landlord's that bought lands from the government. No illegality except on the side of the Lagos State government that abandoned the landowners after selling their lands to the landlord's and even issued them certificate of occupancy. This happened under the military regime when anything goes just by clicking of the guns. |

Whenever I find myself in a leadership position, I pray for wisdom above all else. I also like to take my time to think things over before making a decision. Yes, this may cause a delay of a day or two, but it gives me time to think things through. The Governor's decision to go to Magodo was a poor one. His action was wrong on all fronts. He acted amateurishly and extra judicially by intervening and seeking to thwart the execution of a court judgement. The Governor comes across as a gentleman. I hope he learns from this experience. I wish him the best. |

Ajulo is tactless, speaking from both sides of the mouth. Is it after the residents houses have been pulled down that sanwo olu should come in for the appeasement? |
