Their only mistake was joining an army in a useless country like this. Nevertheless, order is order. If you were in the army and was told to go shoot innocent protesters, you don't have a choice. Obey the order or be court martialed and spend the next 10-15 years in a military prison.

If them no follow orders from their superior they would be court-martial and either dismissed from the army or their ranks would be demoted.\
