That rock has been there for many years without collapsing, on sighting the tourist it decided to cave in.

A minute before the accident the rocks were falling. It was the negligence of whoever was piloting the boat! the driver of the boat did not come back... did not come back after see the first rocks fail. This was negligence. They were wrong to organize excursions in periods of rain. Brazilian authorities warn tourism companies about this. Third world countries don`t have fiscalization. That is a result.
It is prohibited to visit lakes during rainy periods. And the idiots of tourism company made the tour anyway.

So unfortunate, it fell directly in their direction!

The captain shouldn’t have tilted the boat towards the falling rock, he could have averted the accident by reversing instantly.
