If that's the case a substitute referee should have been called, so as to give the match a fair play ground. |

Joeblazeochola:Yes. And he gave Tunisia a 50-50 penalty and sent a Malian player off. A red card that is so ridiculous. All these to make Mali win. |

Must Africa show dumbness He lost focus of a match that has over three refs officiating Then other officiators wanted to continue the match but one of the teams (obviously the winning team) refused. Is it in a team's or player's place to determine a match They rehearse lies before telling them. Tuehh |

MotivationKG: You didn't read the story to the end.. I'm not saying I agree with him, but the story says another official was to complete the match but one of the teams (Tunisia I imagine) refused |

Rubbish.. We have seen when the ref is being changed and the match continues. What's the need of having a fourth official. |

robosky02: If that was the case why in the world did AFCON allow him to offiate the match ? You could have allowed him to receive his treatment properly without disturbance rather than using him to gamble |

MotivationKG: “When the crisis occurred and the objections and control were lost in the match, the fourth referee was the one who was going to complete the match [instead of Sikazwe], but one of the two teams refused,” Abdel-Fatah told MBC Egypt’s Al-Laib |

So this is true. How can you stop a match before time, he shouldn't be part of the officials. Some people will still defend the ref. |

That Ref did not take advantage of the cooling breaks very well. I think the comment of CAF is solid. |
