As governor of Lagos, he was excellent. He was instrumental to the formation of Nigerias governors forum and also provided leadership for the southern governors forum. He led the battle for the creation of Local government, state police, abrogation of onshore/offshore dichotomy and other matters that are essential to a properly constituted federal system of government.

Sentiment aside, I can’t think of someone better qualified to be president than Tinubu. He’s a square peg in a square hole. He will unite Nigeria and set her on the path of shared prosperity. Dear Nigerians, if 2023 is the question, Asiwaju is the answer!

My friend, sentiment aside, it is easy to see that Tinubu has a shady character. You can only gauge people's intention by their character. You talked about his education, but it's a common knowledge that despite his status, nobody really know where he had his primary and secondary education.
He met a strong platform in lagos. Lagos was the political capital of Nigeria and it's still the economic capital by a long stretch. 95% of any candidate would do reasonably well in lagos. His successors have actually done way more than he ever did.
Plus he has an authoritarian propensity plus a very egoistic wife. All this small small pointers can't and shouldn't be taken for granted. We saw pointers in Buharis candidature too, a d he came and manifest and even maximised all.
