The Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu and former House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, has identified the secret to the president’s political rise.

Gbajabiamila linked Tinubu’s political rise to the ties he built with his colleagues when he was a senator in 1992.

He disclosed this during a reception organised for him and other members of the Forum of the All Progressives Congress, APC, former members of the House of Representatives.

Gbajabiamila thanked his former colleagues for organising the reception to honour them.

According to Gbajabiamila: “I will tell you one thing today, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he may not know it, I have been around him for a long time, one of his greatest strengths and what catapulted him to where he is today were his former colleagues when he was a senator.

“So this is a constituency we must hold dear. We just shouldn’t burn bridges when we leave.”

That's all they care about, politics not governance, they always talk about how they've made men but never talk about how they've destroyed the country making those men, why should I as a citizen be happy that my country is getting destroyed while making strong and corrupt politicians wealthy and powerful.

He knows how to maneuver the politicians around him to do his bidding and lastly he patiently wait for anything he desire to achieve which other politicians lack in the last election.

Tinubu did not win, he was rigged in last minute by Bubu and Mahmmud to cover APC monumental corruption under Bubu.

Thats why Bubu's administration is being shielded technically.

Yes part of it was to relationship he built and that is an important factor in any success story but that doesn't mean or make the essence of relationship right

Stupid philosophy.
How does this sound to them I don't know.
Other political figures in other nation. Standing for the people catapult them in their political journey.
Our own is cabal.
Nobody is saying don't have ties, but what is the foundation of the ties, can I state clearly the political leanings of the president?
Can you plot where he is on the political compass?
Is he capitalist, or socialist, is he centrist, what of on the social aspect, is he conservative or liberal?
Does this reflect in his policies?
That is what catapults other leaders, whether trump, Biden or Boris Johnson.

He did nothing in Lagos compared to jakandes 1 term. For good 8 years he was busy writing a blueprint for lagos grin.
Only God knows what fashola or ambode will use for their own campaign should they want to run for president.
