If people celebrate the killing of Soldiers, and Soldiers go to wreck havoc in return, then that is impunity and illegality

On no circumstances are Soldiers allowed to go and wreck havoc anywhere. Its just that Nigeria is a backward country where impunity has been normalised

I remember some years ago I watched a documentary about the Vietnam war of the 1970's. A battalion if American Soldiers had been fighting in Vietnam for several months and had lost many men, some maimed for life, others injured.

But when the battalion returned to America, they were met by anti-war demonstrators who mocked hurled abuse and embarrassed the Soldiers. Despite all the Soldiers had been through, the Soldiers calmly marched passed the demonstrators and returned to their barracks. Had it been Nigeria, the Soldiers would have attacked the demonstrators and probably invaded the community to teach them a lesson

However, the American Soldiers respected the right of the protesters to freedom of expression because the constitution has granted that right. To have attacked or killed their fellow Americans just for expressing their opinion would have been an unforgivable sin
