I liked Arishem and the Celestials look. They had the best CGI design. Those were the best moments.

Sadly this is the first MCU ensemble movie that was trashy.

I had two reasons for not watching, and was looking for one more. Your opinion had further added more than the one needed, to not watch the movie.

I can confidently save my data and use it for something much better.

One thing I don't agree with the movie tho:
Russia and China are perfectly capable of launching missiles into space shooting down spatial debris and the likes. One space launch station being destroyed means nothing as there are several similar stations littered across the Republic, both publicly known and secret silos. Same as EU (France & Germany).

It's funny how the two countries with the most advanced missile technology (Russia & China) are solely dependent on a US program. A country they're far ahead of in terms of ICBMs

That part and the way the media was portrayed was erroneous. In reality the media (especially the news) won't dare sugar coat such information. They would do the exact opposite.

Personally, I think those are the flaws the movie had.

I don't quite agree with this. This is more of a satire of global warming and even though the president is mainly a parody of Trump, its also a parody of the 4 or so previous presidents of the USA. Heck even though the movie doesn't expressly say it, the president is a Democrat.

this point totally misses the point of the movie being a satire of global warming.
even though global warming is a scientific consensus, most people don't really give a fu*k. The Russians and Chinese governments aint really doing much to curb global warming and that is what the movie is trying to get across.

You can still check it out if you feel like. It's just my opinion. You might be able to enjoy it unlike some of us.
Most North Americans and critics didn't like James Wan's Malignant, but I see majority of Nigerians praising the movie. It might resonate with you.


If you're not a major follower of the MCU you're good to go. If you are, at some point you'll need to watch it cos you might miss some plot points in future projects (due to the connectivity).

Can we stop listening to what critics have to say before enjoying a flick? I'm not talking about this movie though because it's completely wack. We should all learn to watch something and make up our minds, not follow the bandwagon. I love how critic sites like RT and metacritic are roasted on social media, whenever they post their review on their SM page, the comment section is always filled with "now i'm gonna see it since they say it's bad". I'm not gonna wait for my fellow being to decide whether i'm gonna watch a movie or not because we are all humans, most of this critics reactions are complete bias, it's either they don't like the actor or they do, some were bribed etc.... AMPAS comes mind in this part, they gave Emily in Paris a good review despite me viewing trash because of the VIP experience they were treated to before the golden globes by Netflix. If most movie goers heeded what critics said about the first matrix movie or the "Saw" franchise, i'm sure they would've missed such cinematic experiences
