They even released news that the trains would be ready by June 2013

There is one difference between the blue line and the red line.

Is this so difficult for people to understand?

The news was everywhere then like it was a completed transaction.

Clueless goodluck made blue line rail quit impossible then.
But now instead of completing it, sanwo-olu is talking rubbish.
These people have separated lagos state to real lagos and outskirt lagos.
Places they call inside lagos is where they pay more attention to. Marina to mile 2 need this train, the population from that axis is crazy and a sizable number of people living there works on the island. The holdup attimes is crazy with container from apapa heading towards alaba.
That's an international road also that the governor feels its not so important.

The Lagos blue light rail line was inaugurated in December 2003 by the Bola Tinubu administration.

I hope this red line won't be a whale project also. They might bring it to nigeria, mount them on tracks then abandon them.
