Hello how has it been. Any update for us. I'm coming over with my wife and son in a few months. It's expensive but worth. Closing up my business Nigeria is getting scarier daily. Hope I fit make better money as a dependent. I get plenty Billings back here in Nigeria

Closing down your business? Ha! Can’t you get someone to manage it? Well, it depends on your preparedness and long term plans. I’ve met some people who have regretted coming and others wey no wan hear Naija for sentence

I had the pleasure of experiencing the services of a NHS hospital and I must confess the services was top notch. I wish our brothers and sisters in the NHS can do orientation for the vast majority of their colleagues at home, chai!

Few pics I could manage to take during my stay.

There was no space in the women ward, so I had to wait in the Day surgery unit before being called for my surgery. This unit is for patients who will not need to be admitted after their surgery. Once their anesthesia wears off, they are discharged to go home in the company of an adult as they are not allow to drive.

Kept my mind busy while waiting. At this point, my husband was not allowed in with me but he was with me when I registered in the ward and did the preliminary tests

Given anti embolism socks to help prevent blood clots.

I did preliminary tests a week to the day, blood tests, urine, ECG (heart), height, weight and other medical history taken..

So when you are taken to the theatre, your bed is brought into the recovery room by the porter(s)

3 course meal menu courtesy of the NHS

Hospital food...

Your privacy guaranteed in a general ward. Four bed space.

I can't put into words the level of service and care I received. Not vexed to answer questions and always letting you know what they are doing, truly person centered care.
