Tunisia team exposed what?
That Tunisia team is another disaster
Bro, that Tunisian team lost 7 of their players on covid19 and their main coach.
They are far better than Nigeria and exposed that Nigeria lacks tactics.
The Tunisian came with good plans. They buried the Nigerian wings and had better marking system. That is what football is all about. It is not dribbling up and down.
Tactics win game. Super eagles lacked tactics. No plan B

its obvious the team is not that sound as we thought

Tunisia exposed their weakness and capitalized on it

You see, its not a question of not being sound. Enthusiasm on the pitch matter a lot. The moment they started playing in first half as if there is nothing at stake and they kept kicking the ball up in the air rather than passing the ball around, I know there was a problem. It was as if it wasn't the same players. Did the Tunisian played as much as Egypt? No. But they won because our players energy level in the match was so low. Like the Eagles of the last few years. Not the same as first three matches where everyone was contesting for the ball and running after the ball. Iwobi came in with high energy to change things but he couldn't control is legs.

A good team, Nigeria.
Just a bad day in the office, plus bad energy and badwill from the way Rohr was sacked. That guy swear go reach God Of Soccer
Anyways
It's better here than the World Cup Playoffs.
Next time we learn how to manage confidence

The match showed how bad the team was, those flukes in the group stages blinded us to think we've arrived. BTW the coach should have started Umar Sadiq ahead of Awoniyi, he had a lot of impacts when he came on.

At least now we don go factory reset...WC qualifiers against Ghana that some people are already seeing as walkover, as now become a mountain. All hands must be on deck, or else, there won't be WC for the SE.

My personal take from this game...

*Team got carried away
*They got distracted by all those unnecessary visits
*Nigeria needs a good creative midfielder
*Iwobi is finished
*The team needs a top goalkeeper...Maduka is not even close
*Apart from that miss, Sadiq showed promises tonight.
*Why was Ejuke, a ball dribbler and carrier, not brought on when everywhere seemed blocked...he can play through the middle too.
*Eguavoen is not technically sound...you just pack strikers put field without retaining someone to feed them.
*Lastly, Buhari should please stay away from anything that is going well in this country...it is one too many abeg

crazy how the coach still kept tired players until late minutes.... we needed Musa earlier and more substitutions should have been made and it looked like the ref's ex was a nigerian

You know in Nigeria. We think we know what we don't know. I watched the match against Sudan. I told my guy a technically organized team would defeat us easily...No player linking midfield to attack..Ekong was lunching ball from defence...we does that

Secondly...The way they sacked Gernot Rohr wasn't good. At least we know how this team was before he took over. Embarrassing him out wasn't the solution...

Lastly,,,Now, Eguaveon can confidently leave the national team. He knows nothing about coaching...

Every illiterate becomes a Brazillian tactician, after a lost game! grin grin
All the rubbish you wrote up there are just emotional rants.

Coaches got sacked for 5yrs of non-performance, Ekong can launch ball, if his Winger is unmarked and he did that beautifully, many times.
Eguaveon is still our best bet, we need to develop our local Coaches, build their knowledge and confidence.
I know you could be one of those who benefit from the rot and corruption involved in employing these good for nothing foreign Coaches like Gernot Rohr.

Shameless Black person that always depend on a White person for everything.

Now that we have lost, a nonentity like you will start forming "Coachito"! grin grin

Focus on doing what? On who's better between Tinubu and Atiku, right?

Let's stop kidding ourselves bro. This was supposed to be the welcome breather for Nigerians.

Even Chinua Achebe realized early in we have no country.

Choosing btw Tinubu and Atiku is like what just happened with our national team of which we have just seen the outcome.
There is still time to find a better leader, not choosing bcus he is from your tribe but bcus he holds the belief of one Nigeria, he is one who has the mental will to turn the tides, can discern btw good and bad advisers and so on.
If we don't get it right, we will have to wait roughly another EIGHT YEARS again.. grin grin
After today, the match means really nothing but who we choose as our president will ECHO FOR AS LONG AS WE LIVE.

They were only looking at goals...Them no sabi anything. It's the same thing I saw when I watched the match against Sudan...

Technically, they were zero...players playing off position...well thank God say we are out...They can now face world cup qualifier.

Now coaches will think twice before using him as number 1.

We played well but Tunisians were more determine and better tactically, imagine that they have over 10 players with COVID-19 issue and yet they played well tactically.

After this match, do you still believe that Eguavon should be signed on permenant basis?

They should retain him cos I doubt if all those foreign coaches could have done better.

Moses , Irabo and Chukwueze killed that match. Ndidi played as defensive midfielder today. Irabo should have been the one collecting passes from Simon as two players are always on him then distribute to either Ihenacho or Awoniyi.

Chukwueze was just running upadan with less than 30% chances of winning 50/50 ball.

The red card didn't really show in the game
