Why on earth will eguavon not make the the attackers three since the game changed...he should have known that he should have put Musa in the middle of the attackers

Instead of u guys to blame the coach tactics, u r busy calling buhari.how can eguaveon remove a striker for a striker when looking for a goal.that is pure nonsense.what is sanusi doing on the pitch.eguaveon should not coach us against Ghana if we want to go to the world cup.look at the person they sacked rohr for.

You get football sense? He removed Iheanacho because he already had a yellow card. And the way he was playing he could have got another yellow, which mean another red card. Who do you want him to remove when the team was short of one man in the midfield? He couldn't replace a midfielder or defender because doing so would have left a lot space in the midfield and defense. Even Tunisia weren't that good. They are just an average team. Man, Eagles sabi dissapoint.

It also shows we do not have a credible 9 in this tournament. Ahmed Musa would have even been a better 9 for us. Olayinka is even better than Awoniyi and Sadiq..

I'm not starting any vawulence bro. These tribalistic fools made it all about Biafra and so-called "merit." Yet, Okoye and Iwobi, two "Biafrans" let Nigeria down. Umar Sadiq in just few minutes that he played today was Nigeria's best player, bar the goal he missed.
Quota system missed 1v1 with a goal keeper who was already falling to his right. All he needed to do was just play it at any angle in the middle or left but like quota system that he is, he did not dissapoint

The moment it was reported that the Mr Failure residing at the Aso Rock called the Super Eagles camp, millions of Nigerians already knew it's over..... The first-half was characterized by poor performance from the Super Eagles, it brought to mind, our first game with the Egyptians (we simply mimicked the Egyptians' poor performance) . There was no game plan, no tactics, no creativity, no confidence on the ball, and no sense of urgency. We're so relaxed and faired badly, in a 45min game play that ended a goalless draw.

Of course, the Tunisia side didn't come to watch us win, they had a game plan (parking the bus) and were so determined in winning the game.

If only we had scored at least a goal in the first-half, the results would have been a different one.

Again, why would the coach remove Iheanacho for Iwobi in the first place?

It's our worst game of the tournament and we paid heavily for it. embarassed cry cry

Imagine, a team that struggled to qualify out of the group stage, winning only one match, defeating us, even with our clean sheet record of winning all our matches.

Lastly, all thanks to the man at the helm of the affairs; indeed, his bad luck aura is quite effective, as evident in the abysmal show put off by the Super Eagles tonight.

We played well but Tunisians were more determined and better tactically, imagine that they have over 10 players with the COVID-19 issue and yet they played well tactically.

After this match, do you still believe that Eguavon should be signed on a permanent basis?

Spent my time cooking beans. I can’t even burn my data to watch super eagles. Thank God we can now rest. If you like hire foreign coach from Brazil and Spain. Shishi we no go collect. No special player, everybody just be like this same.

Having the likes of iwobi Hudson odio, lukaku, and co in your team might kill the fans

The Tunisian teams really studied our past matches and they achieved what they wanted, we didn't give them close marking.

No wonder most of shit Nigeria players don't play first team with their club because the lack football skills. In the midfield no creative players at all. Is only backward pass I see throughout this mumu match

Reference to World Cup Qualifiers. I made the comment after the loss. I know our squad list to AFCON2022.
Nah, the team can still make do with what they have. Let only the guys that played the qualifiers represent Nigeria at the world cup of Nigeria ends up getting the qualifying ticket. I'd rather have me an Iwobi that wants to represent the team than a Denis that doesn't give two shit. That's how Man.Utd landed in the mess they're in right now.

At least now we don go factory reset...WC qualifiers against Ghana that some people are already seeing as walkover, as now become a mountain. All hands must be on deck, or else, there won't be WC for the SE.

My personal take from this game...

*Team got carried away
*They got distracted by all those unnecessary visits
*Nigeria needs a good creative midfielder
*Iwobi is finished
*The team needs a top goalkeeper...Maduka is not even close
*Apart from that miss, Sadiq showed promises tonight.
*Why was Ejuke, a ball dribbler and carrier, not brought on when everywhere seemed blocked...he can play through the middle too.
*Eguavoen is not technically sound...you just pack strikers put field without retaining someone to feed them.
*Lastly, Buhari should please stay away from anything that is going well in this country...it is one too many abeg
You have said it all.
SADIQ should have started that game.

I think you are right. he has better skill than Awoniyi but Sadiq just need to learn to control his body because he falls down a lot and that rub negatively against his game. I wasn't really convinced about him before this match, but the little time he had in this match he made a lot of difference. Awoniyi doesn't deserve the No. 9 position.
Not only Awoniyi. That Chukwueze dude also doesn't deserve to be a first choice from the right wing. Dude has not convinced in the national team at all.
