Lagos has her place but the richest city in Nigeria is Abj. Lagos will generate all the revenue and summit all to Abj and still come back to Abj to get a share of her revenue. A CBN staff in Lagos and a CBN staff in Abj can't receive the same salary though they are at the same level.

Lagos is the best and the richest in terms of states but when you talk about the richest city in Nigeria, Abj is the seat of power and where all parts of Nigeria comes to get their crumb (share of the national cake).
Ignorance no go kill you

Even Abuja is not as rich as Lagos state.

Bring your evidence about this your CBN stats

una no gt sense, both of una.
From the part of the book posted it is talking about the Per-capital income of Babylon. The book said the "Richness of Babylon is not in the Government Coffers" .
It just like saying Akwa ibom is Richer than Rivers since it receives Higher incomes than Rivers when we know the people of akwa ibom are less Richer than Rivers.

Anambra have a higher per capital imcome than Delta and ibadan combined.
According to stats, Anambra is the second city with the lowest poverty Rate after Lagos( note; Abuja is not a state).

Anambra has a lower poverty rate than Delta and to me that's for Richness is all about. Not what is in government coffers. Two years ago Akwaibom was collecting Higher revenue than delta, should we had then said akwa ibom is far far richer than delta state? Use una head Na.

My richest cities according to the Rate of poverty in Nigeria is line below.

Lagos
Abuja(though it shouldn't be included)
Anambra
Rivers
Kano
Delta
Imo
Kaduna
Ibadan
Uyo
Aba
You must be drunk with lies .oyo has more gdp per capital.
Why una like telling lies like dis cheesy

Lagos, Kano are not cities
If Kano is not city what then will we call it? Or you forgot that they coiled the name of the state from the main city which is Kano, just like Kaduna , Enugu and the likes

Attache. For Oshimili and Okay people.

How is it Attaché dear? You said Igbos and I gave you your answer, you didn't say if they are in Delta or Anambra. That's just a few example. Please, do your homework properly before ranting.

I always ask myself , why do ibo always lie to themselves ? Why...
No capital projects that worth 6 billion dollars in any ibo City... Purchasing power there is poor.. igr is very poor... If I may ask ... Pls can you tell us what make onitha the richest city...

Onisha wey no man worth 500m dollars dey live.... No international airport...
It's not generating anything compare to asaba.... For natural resources , onisha poor , capital resources , onitha poor , human resources onisha poor....No popular celebrate or recognized government officials that live there...

Abeg the only place you can call a rich city in Nigeria it's ETI OSA LG In lagos... Followed by garlic/ maitama in Abuja , port Harcourt , asaba , ibadan and any other south south cities...
Reasons I placed ibadan above all cities in ibo Land is this...
8 months of vat report showed that ibadan alone generated more money from purchasing power than the whole of Southeast....

IBADAN GENERATED 69B
SOUTHEAST GENERATED 29B
Wow what a bitter truth that is very difficult to swallow

Where is the official data? Lagos still has the highest gdp per capita in nigeria despite influx of unnecessary poor migrations
I think on gdp lagos state has the largest but in term of gdp per capital, it's river state.

Lol there is nothing special in onitsha, the only good thing you can talk about onitsha is their main market and the billionaire they have but the state alone has nothing, sometimes I wonder why their billionaire with all the money they have, they can never think of developing their place but rather they go to other states and continue with their business. Am an igbo girl and I advised y'all to not argue with all this anambra people because they sabi brag nonsense infact they get talent for bragging we igbo's know them for that, and another thing let me clear you guys about Port Harcourt because I base there, don't let anyone decieve you about pH because pH is not what you think it is, the state only have oil that's all but you can't come and do business here because the state is not really industrious. Infact their governor have succeeded in destroying the state with stupid flyover, you will go to some places in pH that is ought to be used for something lucrative but yet the governor of the state has discouraged people investing, because he has used those places to do flyover. My prayer be say make I leave this nonsense state and jappa go Lagos because Lagos na happening place

What is in Asaba. A civil servants city.
Asaba prosperity is solely dependent on the success of Onitsha. Collective Individuals efforts makes city rich not government. Government efforts is a palliative for the collective individual effort to thrive & Onitsha has cut it's teeth in that regards.
U are right
