CAF is corrupt. Simple and short. That's never a red card. CAF is just pushing forward some countries. This afcon is already a big mess.

World of soccer is full of corruption. In FiFA, UEFA etc, corruption is coded. In CAF, it is so glaring.

Very ridiculous and controversial tournament.
How do you give a red card for that challenge btw mane and the cape verde keeper.

Both players had the right to compete for the ball which they both did, and had a clash of heads and yet you give one person a red card.

Highly gutted with the standard of african referees. No wonder they are never called up to major tournaments. We will be crying africa is marginalized, but truth be told, africa never reach world standards yet. Very very sub standard refs. Useless tournament. Highly highly gutted with their level of refreeing. Aeast fem for dey watch premiership or la liga, make dem fit get experience. Useless

I think the whole world or atleast those who have time to watch this useless afcon will know that the major problem of this afcon are these useless refrees. Well like u said, it could be masterplan from caf to push and eliminate some teams and at the same time, mak som extra income for caf thru d issuance of these ridiculous red cards.

That's why Africa will never win a world cup...it is full of cheats. How on earth was that a red card. Both players were challenging for an aerial ball. The goalkeeper did not even use his hands, he used his head to challenge the ball. The referee has been paid to let Senegal advance. This is a shit game....I'm bloody flabbergasted.

I'm not Nigerian, I'm South African. I'm referring to all bad refereeing that has been going on for some time now. It's like some teams have been guaranteed a qualification for the next stage.

Those red cards aren't worth it at all. African football officials are just off standard, the officiating of that game is very poor.

Even with the numerous people in the VAR room, they still did absolute rubbish...

Exactly... Iwobi offence is never a red card offence but other African countries are always jealous of Nigerians, that I've witnessed a lot here in Europe. But you know what? They can't take our God given talent away. Naija na one of the few African countries that compete comfortably with the West when it comes to smartness and level of exposure. Na just our political class dey cast us!

Naija Vs Tunisia match was nothing but naija Vs Ref, but it's well. We're out, let them enjoy their compromised AFCON in peace.

European clubs paid CAF to instruct de referrees in Afcon to make Red card the MVP in all matches to save the legs of their assets who are playing in the competition.. if u doubt it .. go and ask your forefathers and Ancestors

The most annoying one is the Comoros game. A debutant, small footballing nation, depleted by COVID, playing without a recognized keeper against the host and giant footballing nation. You will not have mercy on them but give them a red in just 10 minutes of the start of the game.
