for those quoting me and talking about security and dangote buying oil from elsewhere. There is insecurity in oil producing states but somehow bonny terminal has been used to export nigeria crude oil for many years without issues. Remind me again whose job it is to provide security again? All these insecurity shit is political because it serves the interest of some power blocks.

We all know the kind of business model dangote operates. He cant do without the heavily subsidized nigerian oil from nepostic government monopoly. Please you guys should remind me again where kaduna refinery is getting her crude from again? didnt nigeria government pipe oil from here to kaduna? Hypocritical NIGERIANS!

everybody dey here when erisco foods was begging cbn to release his dollar so that he can buy essential raw materials but the government refused but was selling forex at a very cheap rate to dangote while other companies was just begging to have access to their own personal money. What about during the border closure and lockdown? dangote was given waiver to continue plying his trade while other industrialists cried. IT IS ALL POLITICS AND POWERFUL INTERESTS

Why should it be sited in a major oil producing state?
Why not in a major petrol consuming state. That is a business decision. Dangote's decision
Just like Nigeria is importing petrol today there are other countries that import petrol and he could export his product. He is not even obliged to sell in Nigeria

India has the largest refinery in the world. It imports its oil
It is one of the largest consumers in the world.
Industries may site close to raw materials or close to market or anywhere else
Europe does not produce any Cocoa but produces more chocolate than Africa.Why?

Refinery can be sited anywhere. Those locations in the SS he intended the governors were very greedy. They want shares without paid up capital.

He proposed to the then Ondo governor same thing happened.

When he approached Lagos government they inclined to his demand.

One thing you need to know is that this particular refinery doesn't only refine the light sweet crude we have in Nigeria.

He had factored the greedy nature of the niger-delta that is why this project was designed to refine heavy crude oil from other part of Africa like Angola which is less than 2000km from Lagos.

Kudos to Alhaji dangote the black yansh billionaire.
Kudos to Lagos state government.

Do you know that a country that sells crude oil can also buy depending on size, geography and logistics
/There is now oil in Niger so nothing stops Nigerian investors setting up a refinery in Katsina using Niger oil

Crude oil is sourced anywhere in the world at competitive rate.. that is why there is global daily oil price per barrel.

Dangote is one of the global leader in business, he is no longer a local champion...that is why he is manufacturing cement in 14 African Countries.

Finally, Nigeria economy will boom again.
The other three refineries should be sold out.
It's better managed by the private sector cause of the corruption and impunity in the public sector.
The next in line is railway infrastructural development.
I can't wait to see a railway line that will run parallel with the Transaharan highway that ran from Ogoja to Abakaliki to Enugu to Awka to Onitsha to Asaba to Benin City to Ore to Lagos.
The amount, the bus operators are charging for commuters are outrageous.

Business prosperity has to do with peaceful atmosphere of the place the business is situated. Many OAG companies deserted ND due to insecurity issues.

India has the largest refinery in the world despite not having oil. Business is for Wisemen not pessimist!
