Mrbenny001:
But Jaruma is allow to use social media to oppress right?, Because he's rich any body can insult and defame him as they like?
There is a civil remedy under the law. If everyone who said something wrong about another person was thrown into prison, what sort of society would that be?

"Just look at what you wrote .... You come online to defame someone's character.. talk shit about him ... You want him to shut up and look at you... Naaa e no fit work ... When you get to that stage .. you will do same .."

"There is no need to start a fight you know you can't finish. Remember Israel DMW and DJ cuppy, he quickly apologized when he saw things getting serious. Let her prove herself in court if she can't apologize."

Wow I'm shocked that the same youths that will be calling for justice now sees it ok for a rich or connected person to use their influence to use the Judicial system to their own advantage.
Simply speechless.
I don't care if it's Tinubu, Buhari or Ned, I will never support anyone using the Judicial system to oppress anyone. I don't know this lady nor do I care about her business but if the case is about public humiliation or libel then the case should simply be a civil case. Nothing.
Let's stop being hypocritical.
At least I'm consistent in my principles and ideas.

Why don't you stop your diatribes. You can't insult people and go free. Using social comes with responsibility.

She should serve jail time. I love how Ned handles these issues

He waited till January to ensure she is depleted and starts the new year from prison.
serve jail time for what ? your name is very appropriate. saturn is 666 the devils planet hence why it has satellites like prometheus16 but one day you will be reduced to the saturn moon titan so you sink like the titanic. its oppressive people like you who make nigeria bad. serve jail time for what ? at worst she should be fined . but you are saying jail time ? too many imbeciles in naijiriya

I'm just speechless that some are actually supporting Ned on this one. Wow, so all the social media anger is just for politicians? Anyone else can do as they wish.
Really messed up society.

Probably everyone don’t have the time or resources to sue them.

Cardi B just won over $1million suit against a YouTuber that claimed she had herpes on her YouTube page. What do you say to that?

The criminal remedy is available for the rich against the poor
It does not apply to rich people

So you are supporting abuse of the judicial system, if it's Buhari or another politician now, the whole country will be crying and wailing by now.
Same way couple of Pastors used the judicial system to intimidate others and people were ok with it. But if that had been a politician then they want" justice".
Let him sue her to civil court, this is not a criminal case.
How did he abuse judicial system? Which pastor used the judicial system to intimidate others?

Say whatever you like but I'm not one of those men that falls for cheap emotional blackmailers by women. Ned Nwoko is a nice man and a philanthropist. He knows better than you, he is a lawyer and understand the law better than you and I. You are not wiser than the judge. I wish their will send her to life imprisonment. Nuisance and kayamata
DeepSight:
Don't be silly. I have no idea who she is.
I can simply see from the list of charges that its absolute BS. . . . Abuse of the judicial system, and corruption by power and money. Its at best, a civil matter - No charge of fraud is mentioned there, mind you.

Why is Nwoko oppressing people with his money. This started as petty personal fights between the two. This offense is bail-able and the Judge should have heard the ball application immediately rather than denying the Lady her freedom on petty things as this.
It's obvious the Vice President, Professor Osinbajo is on point on why the process that throws up a Judge should be more rigorous than the present process.
For Nwoko, his drum is beginning to sound too loud, I hope someone will tap him to slow down. He's been engaged in too many petty fights
Why will you engage in a petty fight with a billionaire?

Kemi Olunloyo was locked up simply because she abuse one Pastor I think in SS. Suleman also tried to use the judicial system to intimidate another lady and people were actually ok with it. Kemi was locked up for months without charges.
He's abusing the system with his money and influence. He has every right to sue her to civil court, but all these charges are made up just satisfy Ned'e ego. This is a simple civil matter that the criminal courts should never get involved in.

Ned Nwoko is a nice man
You know him personally?

He knows better than you
How so?

he is a lawyer
So am I. And not a cheap one. So stop making assumptions about strangers.

and understand the law better than you and I.
Perhaps better than you. And certainly knows just how to waste the law with money and power.

You are not wiser than the judge.
Another assumption. Says who?

I wish their will send her to life imprisonment.
For slander and libel? Obviously you are nuts.

PS: Brush up your written English. Its so terrible its painful to read.
