Got an E-mail yesterday from Binance about Log-in IP Address change. The NIGERIANESS in me refused to open the mail to review any security thing. ...and today everyone is crying..

This has nothing to do with fraud/money laundering by Nigerians or any of the crypto-trading platforms or wallets trying to defraud Nigerians.

Since February 2021, this administration through the CBN banned the facilitation of any transaction involving cryptocurrency with Nigerian banks.
This was one of their disingenuous ways of attempting to debilitate the Nigerian youth financially following the End SARS Protest in the late part of the previous year.

Using a Nigerian bank, you can't access your funds in your crypto trading account; not just at Binance, but Luno and other crypto wallets .

Some of us protested and condemned such move, but it seemed we were just 'making noise' at that time.

We pray our youth get sense before the next elections.

Binance can trace transactions, and recently fraudulent transactions by our leaders of tumoro Is all over the Blockchain, they steal alt coins through phishing, send it to separate wallets and sell to you wey de trade crypto, u buy and sell to make profit,
If u still have traces of the stolen coins or you bought them unknowingly, you are on your own..

If the bolded is the case, all those lamenting above won't be regarded as scammers by their co-travellers.

You just dragged politics into it yet has no solution beyond talking down on the youths who are the same ones calling out the scammers among them. If you don't see anything good in the Nigerian youths you sounded as if they deserve to be so treated.

As for me o, I know cryptocurrency is a fraud, ponzi and financial mania. It's all a matter of time. All those looking for free money will soon realise that they are the victims in the monkey business called cryptocurrency.
