HE Kayode Fayemi won the primary election polling 941 votes against 33 other candidates. His closest rival was Segun Oni, a former governor of the state, who came second with 481 votes, Kayode Ojo came third with 281 votes. In the gubernatorial election proper, HE Fayemi won the election with197,459 out of total votes cast of 403,451 ( i.e less than 50% of the total number of people who registered to vote in Ekiti is 909,585)

Now that the primary got Mr Oyebanji
101,703 , it is almost as if on paper, he has hypothetically won the election with 21,341,310 if you pro rate by simple proportion of his result with that of HE Fayemi niyen, making this geometrical proportion change between the results from APC primaries in 2018 and now in 2022 number ri bakan and almost 20 times more than the total number of people who registered to vote in Ekiti state
Sincerely, that 101,703 doesn't add up and I hope it doesn't later haunt the party

Btw, Mr Oyebanji,the declared winner should please be magnanimous in victory. All we want is politics and political victory of APC in Ekiti State without bloodshed and bitterness.

bola tinubu is among the unpatriotic Nigerians. Secondly, when part registration was been done then, he never encouraged his followers to register for it, yet he was spearheading the call for direct primaries. Thirdly, lagos where he was practicing his politics before, has any governor, senator or reps member won any election without the support of their godfather of which he was also a beneficiary as an aid and a commissioner, He knew all these all along..and yet he was crying aloud....at least I can say much about opeyemi but not others....the guy should go back to lagos...and leave ekiti politics for those who know how to play it.

I understand u completely that’s why I said a background check for competence and capacity will clear all or most doubts on each candidate.

We know how the Nigerian political system is 80% of them are there for their pockets including the ones crying their are rigged out. They are not saints and that’s why competence can only be confirmed through proper background checks of candidates rather whether or not he was supported by the incumbent or even a godfather figure.

However the character, ideology and traits of The Godfather May need to be considered in some cases cos some are overbearing and controlling and just want their candidate to be their puppet rather than serve.

Oga it was rigged stop defending shiit, I listened to Adeyeye on politics today yesterday night on channels Tv and his grievances was the same with fappy, MOB and the rest when I listened to them on Tvc yesterday noon. There is a pictorial evidence which clearly shows that some of the yesterday election officials was with Abiodun in Abuja when he went to obtain nomination form at the party HQ in Abuja. Fayemi openly supported Abiodun and he did everything possible for him to win. Fayemi is a traitor he has forgotten how MOB and Adeyeye worked tirelessly for him in 2018.
