Hon. Bisi Kolawole, a former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state has emerged the winner of the governorship primary of the party.

Kolawole defeated a former governor of the state, Segun Oni, Prof. Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, the immediate past Deputy Governor, Wale Aribisala and others to emerge winner.

Wow... seems Fayose is still very much in charge of the State Party structure. On paper, Oni seems to be the favourite but on ground, Fayose seems to still have a strong structure. Kudos to whosoever emerges as the governor at the end of the day. Somehow, cross carpeting may have worked against Oni. Victory for democracy. They should all unite to form a formidable force.
