10-man Burkina Faso Beat 'Almighty' Tunisia To Book A Place In Semi-finals by Gemid94(op): 10:27pm On Jan 29, 2022
Tunisia could not stop 10-man Burkina Faso to qualify for semi-finals in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Saturday, as the latter won 1-0 at Roumde Adjia Stadium.

The only goal of the game was scored by Dango Ouattara before the half-time and was later sent off at the 82nd minutes after committing a ridiculous foul against one of the Tunisia players.

This makes it another historic victory for Burkina Faso in three of the past five Africa Cup of Nations events.

Fear? Nah

Nigeria played them with complacency arrogantly thinking they will beat them. A common black trait.

against Nigeria, dey defended all tru n were clearly d underdogs but Nigeria bluff dier lines bt against bukina, dey poured out to attack bcox dey were d clear favorites n bukina defended with fast counter, got dt only goal n i knew it was game over.

Burkina Faso did what super eagle failed to do, congrats to them. But let's be honest to ourselves, is Austin eguavoen truly the man for SE? This current set of talented players will go to waste just like The Golden generation of the ivorian. Eguavoen to me o, doesn't know how to switch tactics when need be,he looks tense and confused when he's under pressure, if he must be given the job, then he has to work on so many things. Nigeria needs a quality Coach,be it foreign or local.
