Being an ex International doesn't automatically make you a good coach. Eguavon has never excelled as a coach. He lacks tactical know how and
his selection is based on familiarity or popularity rather than ability and form. Even a lame man could see that awoniyi never provided bite at the attack and umar was better. The same goes for the goalie. The burkina faso team I saw would have defeated Nigeria, look at the goal they scored, in similar situations Nigerian players just kick the ball to the onrushing goal keeper ( ejuke did that against Egypt while umar at did that at the dying minutes of Tunisia match) but bf man running at high speed and seeing that the defenders and goal keeper closed in on him, change direction of the ball to give him enough space to score. My verdict is that this very team or lead by eguavon if they manage to defeat ghana will be eliminated at the first round of the world cup. We need a good coach with good credentials, and the team needs to be rijigged. We have players like ademola lukman, olise, even Samuel kalu, cyriel, etc.Our players are average players

Let's give credit where it is due, I think we had the best defence in the tournament, bad goalkeeper uzoho was better.Good defensive midfield. Ndidi is a boss at that department.Absolutely no creative midfielder play, watch the goal BF scored, an impressive pass from the midfield found their attacker going one on one with the tunisian midfield. I thought Nwakali was added to the team to fill that vaccubut evuavon decided to leave bin on the bench. And though our wingers especially moses Simon we're flashy, they don't really play team football that much, it appears Simon I was particular was more interested in making a name for himself even if it had to be at the expense of the team. Finally we neededbetter strikers with goal instincts than awoniyi

We had another keeper that was doing well too. I think he was diagnosed with Leukemia. Can't remember his name.

Carl Ikeme. He was playing for Wolverhampton fc before retiring due to ill health.

I love all those long passes from BF players.

In the last 3 AFCON ,BH have produced Talented and skilful players like Patrioca not sure of the guy's name but those who have been watching the past AFCON should know
Pretroipa. Great dribbler. Better but less popular than Bance. I guess it's due to the latter ugly face.

The Bance guy was always serious with ball just like current Cameroon Captain, Abubakar. But that ugliness looks make him more popular sha

Why game end in 3:44 instead of 4mins, and there was a little delay that requires an extra seconds

In timing that's already 4mins, anything after 30 seconds is regarded/ rounded up as a minute.
The referee did a nice job.
But in football every seconds count.

If Nigeria had continued to progress, I am sure you won't post this crap. Nigerians are very ungrateful and impatient people. I honestly hate that about us

Read the law book

"At the discretion of the referee"
you did not answer my question, you failed to realize laws have hierarchy, how many matches have you watched where the fourth official raised 5 mins as extra time and the ref blow at the 2nd minute and the ref claiming it is his discretion? mr man, all officials on the field of play work in tandem.
Discretion or not, a Ref can not blow before the expiration of the added time, he can only do it after, that is the law. The stupid ref blew 3:44 out of 4 minutes yesterday, that is a gross misconduct.

Ignorance

The centre referee communicate to the 4th official the no of mins to be used as injury time according to his watch and not the other way around. Yes, I Ve seen 3mins showed by fourth official and the ref ended the match at 2mins 30secs according to onscreen time but it was already 3mins from his wristwatch.

He determines the added time and it's a function of his wristwatch not onscreen time

Don't force me to assume you are dumb, you are shifting from pole to post now, you once said the referee has the right to blow before the expiration of added time, when I showed you that is false, you came with watch issues, why are you people retarded like this? so you think the difference between the referees watch and the on screen watch would be running to minutes?
Back to my earlier question, Mr faulty watch, how many matches have you watched in which the fourth official raised 5 minutes and the Referee blew on 2 minutes and the Referee was insisting that he is following his watch?

Please don't quote me again, I detest men that run from pillar to post when they are cornered.
First, it was the referee can blow before the expiration of the added time, which was proven to be false, now it is watch issues nawa .
