I sensed that was your angle. I insist there was no follow up tackle. He didn't stick out his foot or anything like that. He simply cleared the ball and his opponent COLLIDED with him afterwards.

Still too much force though.
Pls do check out the penalty given Spain in the last women world cup vs South Africa ( 2nd penalty pls).
Would like to get your opinion on that

. Burkinafaso would have beaten Nigeria had we met them

Quest7777:
This was what I expected Chukueze to be playing, not aimlessly running sideways with the ball.

Chukueze only ran the few times he saw the ball, the main culprit for Super Eagles' elimination na Moses Simon, that guy na idiot. That guy received more attacking balls than any other player but the idiot was trying to sell himself by going the Okocha's way. The only goal against Egypt was cos he decided to cross the ball into the opponents box forgetting that despite Okocha's attempt to sell himself against team development, man has no self recognized award other than BBC African footballer award. Shey na that one we dey talk? If that stupid Simon does not change his game, he's going to become a good but not recognized player like that other uncle

As I suggested: Nigeria's Eagles have to adopt the mindset that whatever African team they play will be twice the team they ordinarily are. In order words, African teams try harder when playing Nigeria. I suspected that Tunisia would beat Nigeria in that game and they did. I didn't think they would beat Nigeria because they are North Africans or any of that over- respecting North Africans rubbish, I just worried that they, Tunisia, were going to up thire game more than Nigeria would expect them to given their problems with Covid.

Ghana too will beat Nigeria if Nigeria does not approch that game expecting Ghana to fight tooth and nail not to loose to Nigeria. Majority of teams in Africa stand a better chance than Nigeria of defeating Ghana in the upcoming game. Nigeria needs to adopt the mentality that expects this and is prepared to overcome whatever fight African opposition puts up.

SE played big boys football, they hardly chase balls, but would rather wait for it to come to them. They give their opponents too much space to play.

As much as people called out Umar Sadique he was more passionate and ready to do all it takes to win than 90% of his teammates on the field.

Why is this referee yellow card just falling.

Funnily, the referee used to be a player until a referee officiated badly against his team and he decided to become one..
same way people join police in Nigeria as wayvif settling score with the masses either beca6 they were once victim of police brutality ,robbery, yes ,you heard me right. Most are licensed armed robber in uniform undecided, then extra judicial killing angry

Exactly. I notice Burkina did opposite of what we did which trying to win ball from.tunisia even if they know they can get but just to unsettle the tunisian but super eagle will just be looking and following

I'll check. Not forgetting referees are not perfect.

Personal discretion can see things from a different angle

Enyeama leaving super eagles has cost us a lot. The last world cup it was keeper that didn't make us qualify. Nigeria have not get a good keeper yet, all this akpeyi, okoye and usoho are just flop. The reason why okoye concede less goal in the group stage was because we had good defender covering his loopholes. Is error against Sudan that couldnt lead to goal for Sudan was a thing to notice how flop of a keeper he is
That's why till tomorrow,I will still blame Oliseh for scattering the team because of his ego.

The same Nigeria wey beat egypt

That game against egypt was luck. Egypt did not know how nigeria will play

If we played that game last we would have lost.

Eguaveon tactics are very easy to counter .

Eguaveon formation is supposed to be used as a suprise.

IF Nigeria want to qualify for world cup they better use Gernot Rohr formation and tactics.

IT might be boring but u will get result.

No be big boy football, its bad formation by Eguaveon.
Which team in the world plays 4-4-2- Leeds united and they win some and lose plenty.

Rohr was playing switching between 4–2–3–1 or 4-5-1

A system whereby Moses Simon and Iwobi are attacking wingbacks and they have back up of Aina or Collins.

If Eguaveon is coach for pplayoff just forget Nigeria qualifying for worldcup because he is stuck on wingplay and 94 system
