so after perusing both verses for what seemed like a long while. . . my final verdict goes thus;


• Opener - 1 point - Deepwaters,
simply because the ('kill Ian/Mbappe) wordplay was slightly better than Tempo's ( chef/Deepwaters/big fish to fry). . .could have easily been a tie though.

• Rhymes - 2 points - Tie. Both shooters cancelled out each other here, your rhymes weren't in sync all through your verse

• Similes/ Metaphors - 2 points - Deepwaters

• Punchlines - 3 points - IanTempo, the Moses/Split water apart punch was enough for me.

• Personals - 2 points - Nil

• Flow - 1 point - Tie

• Wordplays - 2 points . . . Deepwaters, cos he showed more wit to earn him this criteria

• Closer - 1 point - IanTempo . . . the punch was more direct and hence had a better sting

You guys really need to work on your rhymes.

Deep waters has the worst rhyming skill here. Some barely rhymed. Ian had some multis here and there.

Thunderous laugh.

Ian had a cleaner punch too...and the best flow.

No personals in any. Verses filled with mostly name plays.

I think y'all need to be reading old battles and old flow for rank verses from 2009 to 2015. It will sure help improve y'all writing skills.
