I am well above 30 years (35 precisely). I have a friend in who works in a federal agency that has promised to help me. He asked for a certain amount though.
My credentials (waec O level and birth cert) all shows my age but he's saying that's not in any way a problem.
I need the advice of those who are in any of the federal ministries.
I have a B.sc and M.sc.
Kindly help a brother with sincere and genuine advice.

There is currently an embargo on recruitment into civil service jobs except the military, police etc. Be creative to find out the ministry and look for people there to know if recruitment is actually taking place.

According to the Public Service Rules, the maximum age is 45 into regular appointment. Anyone above that age can only be employed on contract basis and it's mostly as consultants.

It’s even a shame that I’m arguing with a level 10 officer. I have been in service well over the 9 years you’re claiming and I’m way above GL 10. In fact, that was my starting point when I joined the Federal civil service. Learn from your seniors and stop arguing ignorantly.

Go get another birth cert. WAEC is not needed, tell them you jump from primary school to university.
