Born on February 19, 1961, Anyim’s declaration to run for the seat in Aso rock is both timely and strategic. Nigerians are looking for leaders who are relatively young, considering the political clime and can offer strong leadership. At 60 years of age, Anyim Pius fits the bill perfectly. Anyim Pius Anyim is one of the few people that hold the second-highest award in Nigeria. He has distinguished himself in leadership and national developmental matters. 4) He Holds the Record of the Youngest Senate President

5) He was the Secretary to The Government of the Federation (SGF)
Anyim Pius Anyim was appointed as a Secretary to the Government of the Federation by Goodluck E. Jonathan. As SGF, he did very well in taking the entire federation into consideration. He used the office to serve Nigerians from all walks of life and carried everyone along.

6) He brokered Peace to a Fractured Relationship Between the Arms of Government.

During his time as Senate President, Anyim did not shy away from being an exemplary. Even at his young age, Anyim demonstrated rare leadership qualities by bringing back peace and synergy between the arms of government.

7) He Publicly Displays His Christian faith
He is a very honest and God-fearing man and one of the few politicians who have no charges levelled against him. Despite being in the political field for a good number of years, one thing that didn’t change about the statesman is the way he publicly displays his dedication to God. Good, join or form a party and run for office...and together we will get rid of the criminals.

Seriously, I am getting tired of this 'recycled criminals' grumble. Yes, I have used it myself. But at the end of the day, it achieves nothing for us as Nigerians

Plus, I have seen far too many people grumble about the recycled criminals, and then on another thread, praise and back the same 'recycled criminal' of their choice.

The reason why the recycled criminals are in power is that they put their face forward. The reason why we have old and incompetent Bubu is because he spent 15 years showing face, running several times for office, meeting and forming alliances, and doing the hardwork to get into office. GEJ too, started small with phd, and advanced up the ranks because he showed face, and probably carried water for bigshot politicians who gave him recommendations in return.

Finally, many of us grumbling think that 1) democracy is about voting and going home 2) expressing your democratic right is about saying 'Down with whoever is occupying Aso Rock' fifteen times a week. It's much more than that.

8. He's a PiG ... a fat sleeping one

This ayim pius seems to be a government pikin. Just like Buhari, amechi, fashola etc.
We need people that have existed successfully outside government and also have some government or private organizational experience.
People like Peter Obi, elumelu, adesina etc

In as much as I want the best leaders for our beloved country,but someone close to this man should kindly tell him not to waste his money........The northerners are already seeing the presidency as their birth right . So any aspirant from here(the south) should be advised not to throw his money away............GEJ case should always serve as a case study to our people..
