WATCHOVER: And the reason why is because most of you don't want to back small parties You all grumble about PDP and APC everyday, but when someone from a smaller party comes and asks for your support, you laugh at him or her, and then go vote for the same PDP and APC you were grumbling about. PDP and APC were built up by people who were willing and still willing to do the work to build it up. So, why can't we , even if it is just voting, build up alternatives? PDP and APC members aren't even up to 2 million Nigerians, out of 70-80 million eligible voters self. |

OP. All these are just offices he held The big questions are 1. What was he able to contribute to his senatorial destrict as a senator 2. What constituency project did he execute as a senator 3. How did he impact the country positively as the Secretary of state... Yahaya Bello is the youngesr governor, he is commisioning TETFUND project as his project, no be by youngest this and that. Ayim has been in the system, what has he been able to achieve... If he couldn't positively impact his constituency as a senator then we dont need him tk rule the nation. 1 Like |

AmadiAba: No presidential aspirant today has better and longer service in government than Pius Anyim. It's payback time from the SW to the SE to support Igbo presidential candidates, possibly for the two largest political parties, so that the presidency will rotate to the South. The SE voted for two SW presidential candidates to fly the presidential flags of the two largest political parties in 1999, voted for Obasanjo. No Nigerian with conscience will not tell that it's the turn of the Igbo to present a successor to President Buhari in 2023. A country built on inequity and unfair practices collapses. 1 Like |

backbencher: I understand the point you're trying to pass across, but I do not agree with it in entity. Should every doctor, banker, lawyer etc out there become a politician because we do not like the status quo? How would you feel if your wife's gynecologist is unavailable the day she has an emergency because he went for a political party meeting? As such you can understand why it is grossly fallacious to suggest that I do not have a right to request for a change in the way things are being there simply because I have not "formed or joined a party"... Second, the idea that we have to vote for someone simply because they stepped forward is just not reasonable if you really think about it. |

Aren't you people want Biafra again? A non political Yoruba man will prefer breakup of this useless country, And all Yoruba are scared of support Igbo president because of the experience they had during Jonathan, "No man's land" saga. Ordinary political power Jonathan gave Igbo, they turned it into swords & start chasing Yoruba, if not this scenario, the chance of Igbo become president was viable because Yoruba sees Igbo as their brother prior to that time Amah70: |

Should every doctor, banker, lawyer etc out there become a politician because we do not like the status quo? How would you feel if your wife's gynecologist is unavailable the day she has an emergency because he went for a political party meeting? Or if your pilot tells you to become a pilot or set up your own airline because you complained about his services? As such you can understand why it is grossly fallacious to suggest that I do not have a right to request for a change in the way things are being done simply because I have not "formed or joined a party"... Second, the idea that we have to vote for someone simply because they stepped forward is just not reasonable if you really think about it. Would you vote for a known criminal like the late Lawrence Anini or a boko haram terrorist simply because his name is on the ballot? Even if there were only two political parties and both of them fielded well known criminals like the examples above, who said you HAVE TO vote for either of them when you could simply ignore the ballot or demand their withdrawal through mass petitions? Let's learn to be critical in selecting who we want to run our affairs please. |

mastertek: Igbo did not "fan Lagos no man's land " thing. It was a campaign then by some Yorubas to demonize Jonathan government in order to oust it from power. Jonathan, an Ijaw man was president and employed a few Igbo technocrats to boost his performance. He also employed northern ex-military people for his defence strategies. Yoruba sees Igbo as brothers, but some selfish Yoruba in APC want zoning to enable south produce a successor to President Buhari, but do not want zoning in the southern regions because it's the turn of the Igbo to present a successor to President Buhari. Many other prominent Yorubas have continued to tell Nigerians that it's the turn of the Igbo to present a successor to President Buhari. 1 Like |
