When i see a post like yours i know that at least I'm not weird, neither do i lack a sense of humour. I have said it amongst my friends since early in his career that he is so not funny. He is not even a little bit funny. Way back most of his acts was just wearing Aladura robe, holding a bell, ringing it and making a whole lot of noise while acting a script. The few times he tried to do a stand up session on stage, his jokes were always so shallow and he always used forced laughter while telling them. But i give him respect for building his film and entertainment empire, he probably recognized that stand up comedy was taking him nowhere. Good luck to his girl and family. Oduduwa707: 1 Like |

You are right. In his early days i used to be shocked how such an unfunny person was allowed on stage to tell jokes when there were a lot of talents on the streets. But i give him props for taking his career by the scruff of the neck and building such a successful empire for himself. He probably realized early that he is not funny and acted fast.
