Our tax to GDP ratio is low bt cannot be the lowest. Corruption has eaten deep into government and now the fabric of society that we have no good infrastructure, amenities or maintenance culture to sustain a functional and thriving society or economy.

U can’t tax people who earn so little after creating an artificial inflation due to ur dismal performance in fixing/handling the economy.

Nigeria is not rocket science to fix and the solution isn’t even taxes. We just have very stupid and clueless greedy people as leaders especially in this Apc led government.

There are people that have skills in turning around basket cases.
Even when big multinational companies already dying, you see the board employ a new ceo with heavy experience to turn around the fortunes of the company.
Dont go far, look at our local chicken republic that was practically dead, new management was brought in that started selling "refuel" mean of chicken and rice for ₦500! So a boy will take his gf enter and spend less than ₦1200 with drink, unlike going to tfc, SS etc.
The opposite is Mr Biggs, uac that kept the status quo. They are almost dead.
