I have full afro hair and ladies find it attractive on me well shaped, neat and well combed.. but to be sincere i don't like dreadlocks that are too thick, brown and discolored.

Are you for real? How do you people do this thing? Because my hair stylist also told me samething last year and i thought he was bluffing! Because if i take my bath and i did not pour water and rub soap on my dread or shampoo on my dread, it will make me restless all through the day and i will be feeling like i never had my bath atall and i wont be able to sleep at night, and hell no! I aint never gonna cut this dread of mine, it will keep growing untill reaches my waist and then my feet, and i dont care about how many fuc*king decades it gonna take. we learn everyday. Boss, I need your advice pls, I already messed up. I got to used keeping my hair very black which means I dyed it often, now eh! My God! If I just shove my hand through my hair, everywhere will be full of hairs. Infact, my once fine hair is messed up, it was my barber that started the dye stuff, I never like dye bfor. A good loctician should get your hair locked up in the first treat! You should be washing your hair! It helps with the natural knotting process.

I am currently growing out my locs recently had it locked, I don't look irresponsible, there's that awkward stage in the beginning where your hair doesn't look like it knows what it's doing but in time it levels up.

My stylist told me no water on the hair at all, so I try not to allow water touch it. I use the Hollywood Beeswax cream and it does a good job, I think.

It's the full locs and to have them relocked again will take a full day, the first time was painful enough.

I'm excited though, it looks good on me, but it's going to take a long time too.

I mean the colored ones. Black dye should also be applied moderately.

use normal hair cream and brush your hair regularly, immediately after bathing and before u leave the house.

When u come back home, bath again, use hair cream then brush your hair. Don't use that plastic string brush meant for jeans ohh..
Get that wooden shoe brush that shoe shiners use to brush shoes. That's what is perfect, you will see clean cut spotting waves in 2 weeks or less
