The Chairman of Cubana Group, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has commenced construction of roads in his community.

One of the roads, Afor Oba Old Road, is already under construction, with many indigenes of the community praising his gesture.

A social media user who posted the ongoing road construction on Facebook gathered a lot of comments, with many praising Cubana for his large-heartedness, while others simply hailed him with his many traditional titles.

What manner of wealthy man is this? Only an Igbo man can do this. Daalu okpataozuoroha. Okpole Yankee. Ife dika gi akokwana Anambra State; these were some of the praises showered on the businessman.

The road being reconstructed is said to be a vital road, leading to a popular market in the Oba community of Anambra State, where Obi Cubana hails from.

Good thing he is doing.

One of the things I like about Osumenyi town. You can't say you're rich without constructing the road leading to your house. That's why they have the best road network in Anambra

This man is better than someones who embezzle their citizens money just for their own selfish interest...

No good road..no stable electricity..no steady water supply..no good security..
What then are they proud of.. instead of it's citizens to work towards bettering the country no they rather indulge in horrible crime at the same tarnishing the country's image..

He is not a government official nor does he hold any political position. Those trying to shame him for spending hundreds of millions to celebrate his mother while the road in his own town is bad were just spewing rubbish.

Roads in a Nigeria are not his responsibility not even the one in his hometown, companies and businesses there are not exempt from government tax and levies. What is the state government doing with the money?

He has chosen to do it simply out of good-will and we should all appreciate him.
