Na for show before now.

As someone said before, they bought it from the market instead of getting it from the farmers they gave loans to to make it possible.

It is going to take Nigeria a long time before we achieve self sufficiency in rice production.

Thailand and Brazil, the two countries we are up against have something we don't..lots of wetland for rice paddies. Nigeria has to create wetland artificially for rice paddies, which costs money, and our main natirual wetland happens to be the very polluted Niger Delta

Government should know this. But need for propaganda success beats facing reality

My suspicion has been validated now.. You actually have one pyramid with rice and the rest fucking stick filled and you decided to snap the only complete pyramid for show ..

Wasteful show off

If we have reached self sufficiency in rice production, price would automatically come down without display of pyramid

Hope this will bring down the price of rice in the market..

No it won't, because rice Miller are buying and selling at a profit.
Do you want subsidies paid on rice? Even Bill Clinton regretted sending rice to Haiti as that policy killed the Haitian rice production but Nigerians want imported rice yet complain about foreign reserves depletion. Confused countrymen

Aren't validating their claim, but I'm aware they wasn't any foul play in building the pyramid. The only foul play I would be bother about is If actually the rice weren't brought. This is the federal government we are talking about and stacking it with wood shouldn't be believed in the first place, they are sitting on the nation's treasury
