To the best of my knowledge, what you need to do is this:
1. Create an account with indeed jobs UK or NHS jobs UK.
In the course of creating the account, you will have to fill out your personal details, academic/professional qualifications, certifications and experiences.
It's more like an online CV that creates easy access for applications.

2. Using the search button, look for jobs with tier 2 sponsorship.(For eg, type care assistant jobs with sponsorship).
Vacancies relating to such would appear and you apply for the ones that best matches your profile.
If shortlisted, you will be invited for a virtual interview usually via Microsoft Teams.
If successful and the organisation is willing and ready to sponsor you, after their background checks, they will then issue you a CERTIFICATE OF SPONSORSHIP for visa application.

Thank you so much, really helpful

Pls how many months experience do you have

GiggsTk:

Thanks very much.
No documents were falsified. I have experience working in a care home and it was on this basis and passing some tests and interviews that I got the offer.

I received my COS today from NHS!!!

But it didn't specify how many years they're sponsoring me for. I have emailed them to clarify this.

I just realised I didn't need NARIC after all as I already have CAS that mentioned my level of English.

I have requested for cancellation.

Good morning people,

Anyone knows what happens if an employer is already in the process of issuing a CoS (already applied to the home office for the CoS) but then I get another offer from another employer and want to proceed with the second employer instead? Do I have to reach out to the first employer to withdraw the CoS application or I can proceed with both companies applying for the CoS?

Has anyone experienced this? Or know anyone who has? How was it handled?

Thanks

you would be charged a penalty fee, for your cos to be processed means you have accepted the employment and a breach to that attracts a fee

Good Day Guys,Please I need more clarifications here. My wife is a certified Registered Nurse here in Nigeria. We’re still a young family with a 1year old son. She really wants us to relocate especially as everyone has been advising her about it and I actually want that also. She has booked her date for her IELTS exam which would be coming up next month by God’s Grace, someone also advice that she can apply for a job as a carer in a nursing home or something similar as they don’t require the English test but your qualifications. I like the idea because she’s really overwhelmed by the IELTS exam & really wants to travel. My question now is, Is it possible she can get a carer job from Nigeria? Can you kindly recommend agencies we can apply to for help?
Thank you. I’ll be in the comment sections.

Let her follow the nursing route by concentrating on the ielts and other exams ,she will earn more and get more job satisfaction than following the career route .Carer are for those that are not the health line and just starting to build career out of it

Thank you for your advice. But is the carer route also feasible too? She’s really concentrating on the nursing route & have enrolled with learning centers & also help online. She just wants to leave & do something and I want to support her in whatsoever line. I hope you understand.

Thank you so much for your swift response, please I would like to ask something again, for instance if my employer has given me COS and my Qualification is HND. How will I go about the English proficiency or will I have to write IELTS in lieu of Nuric

Good afternoon everyone. Please i need advice. One of my bro applied health care job in UK for me. He base there. Am in Nigeria. They called and said I should go to hospital and get a reference letter from a Dr to include in my CV else they won't agree to give out jobs if the person don't have care work experience. Though my course is biochemistry BSc but u know Nigeria.. where I found work is water company. My question is.. hope they won't ask me to perform one practical concerning health care or ask me questions that side if I bring the reference letter. Or should I go to the hospital and get some experience with them before they call me for video interview. Advice pls. Who have experience this

Congratulations. Your CoS is supposed to contain the duration of your contract. If it doesn't contain it, you can send a mail to your HR about it. It would be rectified.

IELTS is still required for Visa Application so she would still need to write it. However, she can apply for Health care assistant and Nursing assistant jobs pending the time she will become a UK registered Nurse.

Get the required healthcare experience or else, you will be sent back to Nigeria if they find out that you falsified information.
