Let's pray and hope their are no injuries to the core players... We should be fine, even though we would have been better with 1 or 2 quality addition.

I have no fuss with any of the players sold or sent on loan, like I wrote before, none of them contributed even once to our good run in December, not even as a substitute.

Without serious injuries, we should survive.
what about covid?

Exactly my brother.

Had the Vlahovic deal gone through, Nketiah would have been sold. Meaning, the club had a plan.

This means Nketiah has a big chance now to prove himself as a big club player. Lacazette also has to prove he can win a new contract or at least get a good deal wherever he goes at the end this season. The likes of Martinelli, Pepe, ESR will get good run of games if they can show consistency and form.

Sometimes managing a bloated squad has a way of creating diminishing returns.

Let's pray and hope that the Dubai training makes an impact, my expectation is top 6... If they make top 4, that will be a great achievement worthy of great commendation.
Top 6 has been most people's expectation. It's just because we find ourselves around top 4, that's why the noise of complain is loud.

However I believe we can make top 4, with the league our only hope. All our eggs are in one corner of one basket.

Why should we extend laca deal when we regretted ozil and auba going by the same situation
Are we moving forward or backward

I never said extend Laca. I said he could 'earn the chance' to get an extension or a good deal elsewhere based on his performance. That is Lacazette still has something to fight for.

How? The club has just used one window to offload many deadwoods and unwanted players and have massively reduced the wage burden... in one window.

The players we have can now easily blend and finish top 4 with only the league to navigate.
You are talking the bolded as if we won't have injury, covid or red card. We are thin in most department wen one or 2 injuries occur and you're saying we've players that can blend.

Can you beat your chest confidently that nketiah will lead that line confidently if Laca is unavailable? Can you win 3 points if elneny and lokonga is partnered together?

Make we no act like that 5 foolish virgins in the biblical parable who took oil that is "just enough" for their lantern then at the end of the day their mission was jeopardized

Like who?

Na Una go still lament like Una did with Karlstrom, Dennis Saurez etc.

The club tried to get Arthur Melo but Juventus refused. So? Should they then go and loan a nobody for loan sake?

They tried to sign Vlahovic, but he refused. So should they now sign Sodiq because we must sign?

The club has been suffering from harbouring deadwoods over the years, it pisses me off that fans still want signings even if they are useless. Abeg shift, make I Siddon

It's better not to buy than to buy rubbish and regret.

Just pray for the team to finish top 4. We will attract good players in the next transfer window.

By the way, you need to look up your scriptures again, because you are wrong about the foolish virgins.

Lol, did I say dey should sign scrap?
Why is it that when one thinks of loaning player, the only thing you'll think of is deadwood? Why spy why??

So Arthur melo is the only midfielder in all Europe we can get on loan shebi? It's either him or nobody else.

Why I admire the club for going in for vlahovic, do you really mean they actually don't have plan B?

Why is it that plan B dey hard for this club most times and you're always happy with it. Is it that we can't have a plan B that is quality too? That's what you're telling us?

I like the lean squad, so the coaches can do focused training. The team will also bond better. I also know that most good coaches use fewer players.

As for the parable, the foolish virgins actually came with no oil.

In terms of quality, there is no plan B. A plan B means someone lesser in quality than you actually desire.

Arsenal did make enquiries for Isak, but I believe they must have decided to leave any deal till summer and keep Nketiah instead.

We also tried to get Tielemans, but again chose to leave it till summer.

I believe (I think Arteta should too, no excuses) that the squad is good enough to challenge for top 4 bearing in mind the current state of the league and our rivals.

Someone may say what if injuries or COVID happen, I'd say there's no excuse. Besides I have seen where such took out the whole Comoros team, and almost half of Tunisia in the AFCON and they both still did well.

This is not news because many of us have been aware of this since last season. Klopp especially has made cryptic comments about Saka for a year now. Arsenal are looking to enter negotiations with Saka in the summer for a longer termed and improved contract that will include a release clause. Saka is quite ambitious, Arsenal fans should not misconstrue his humble personality to mean he is not a competitor.

I have been saying this for a while now that we may end up losing all of these young guys if we don't become competitive. Arsenal are too comfortable about this reality and I know these young cats are seeing what is happening with the more experienced players. Will Saka leave? I think Liverpool have the strongest chance to sign Saka, however, that will depend on what happens with Klopp's contract and it may not be now. If a move would happen, it would be in 3 years because there will be more clarity.

Well, let's watch. Hopefully it won't come back to haunt us, cos if it does, I no go allow you rest.

As for the parable, I believe you know the meaning of "extra". So here's the scriptural verse according to GNB. It's different from you saying they came with no oil.

All this one Na cap. Weghort was signed by burnley for less than 15millon. I mean that’s a 6 fit 6in striker who scored 20 league goals last season in the Bundesliga .

The question is where arsenal dey our eyes when such players are available ? Why arsenal like to dey pursue player that are either uninterested in us or those whose aspirations are too high for arsenal level?

Imagine us going for Weghort instead of chasing shadows with that Serbian guy I will never know how to spell his name correctly ? Why we dey close eyes to better things wey dey within our reach ?
