MJBOLT:Madame Web is older in the comics but casting a younger person doesn't really mean anything and I think a younger version of the character exists anyway...Dakota is a decent actress... The fact Web isn't a hero is the exact reason it works..They don't have to be pigeonholed into the Hero saves the day Cliche...Web is a psychic medium and this could open up to multi Spider verse characters... You can't say it will be a disaster because you know nothing about the movie at this stage...The movie might even end up not getting made... People said the same about the Guardians and even the first Iron Man... |

Dakota is average,that's me being generous,the only thing she's known for is 50 shades of grey which is a bad movie itself. Seeing how Sony handled Venom,one can easily tell how bad this movie will be,Tom Hardy is the only reason Venom is even watchable and Dakota doesn't have acting range on that level. MJBOLT:Maybe you should watch The Lost daughter.. Sony butchering Venom doesn't translate to a bad Madame Web movie... Sony's track record with Spidey characters are above average... Hardy didn't particularly display spectacular range in Venom....Venom is a fan favorite and despite critics piling on the movies, they've both been commercial successes.. Replace Hardy with any decent good looking actor, I'm not sure you're gonna get different results...But that's by the way, Madame Web if it ever gets made most likely introduces a whole new array of Spiderverse characters... Keeping an open mind is the least you can do... |
