Madam, if i can hear u clearly, you mean majority of messi's assists always comes from corner kicks and freekicks.

How do you guys watch your own football?

So we should all disregard all the countless breathtaking assists we witnessed while he was plying his trade in Catalonia abi.

If you even really watch la liga and barcelona games back then, you would notice that several teams got away with assists from the argentine genius ruled as offsides, only for it to be replayed and we find out there was nothing off such, if only VAR was in operation.

Meanwhile, I believe messi's assist stats would really have been much more than that, if he had more clinical strikers in front of goal.

Imagine him having luiz suarez, samuel eto, theirry henry and a certain ruud van nisteroy playing alongside him for a long time.

Players like David Villa, Pedro, Alexis Sanchez, griezman and even neymar are certainly not too ruthless in front of goal
