Exactly. That's why you don't just loan anyone as you said before. Because they may just be useless.

We tried to get A Melo, but it didn't work out. That doesn't mean we should just go and pick someone else as if we are using a loan app.
Arthur Melo wasn't seeing shirt in juve, in fact he met most of your criteria for a risky signing yet the board went for him. If they can see Arthur and make a move for him, what stops them from having a plan B, or na only Melo get such short term attribute?

You know I meant romantic relationship, don't claim sly as if you don't know I'm talking about romantic relationship.
Or are you saying business and romantic relationship is the same?
They are not the same. But the principles are the same for all forms of human relationships.

That's why when people start selling something they expect their relations to patronise them instead of their competitors. The principles of all human relationships are they same and are all based on emotions, intelligence and psychology.

In relation to our discuss, if we tried to sign a player and spend the entire window chasing that person, if the person doesn't join, whoever we go for as a substitute will feel sour in mouths, because we will still be wondering how it would be if we got the first guy. While that doesn't mean the substitute will never turn good or even better, he remains A SECOND CHOICE. Hence, it's said that quality has no substitute or plan B.

Good question.

I think it's his background that we are trying to bank on. He was from Barcelona who paid bug for him as a big potential. We also know that Juventus got him for a big fee due to his quality. I don't know why he isn't making it in Turin, probably there are more players in favour of the manager. It's a calculated risk and that's why we refused making it longer than 6months or being pushed by Juventus to make it permanent.

Since you agree they're not the same then it means even the core principles governing both are not the same... So what are we talking about?

In relation to our discuss, who told you the player B will be angry or feeling sad that a top club bought him instead of player A? Person wey go dey thank God say top club don buy am grin

Do you know how Mahrez was brought to Leicester? Even the plan A player, I don forget who him be, and nobody(not even Leicester) will remember that he was an "other option"

Akara, moi moi, and jollof beans are not the same. But they all have the same core ingredient.

It's not the player but the club that will feel they didn't get exactly what they really wanted.

It's natural.

Cases like Mahrez plenty na. Please note that I am not saying the second choice won't shine or even out shine the first, it happens every day. But until that happens, it remains a second choice.

Who and who do u think the word “management” refers to when talking about arsenal as a footballing entity ?

According to ur organogram , do u still think we should stop blaming Silent Stan and blame “management “ instead ?

I also hope u see where “the manager “ Stands in the management hierarchy ( for future references )

You want to blame a business man that have it at the back of his head he's spent more than 230m and nothing to show for it.
You want to blame an individual that have zero knowledge about football, you also confirmed when Roland said Arteta went to meet him in America
If you were in his shoes will you still drop funds?

Do u know what u just did ?

Let me break it down to u. Dangote probably has the faintest idea about petroleum refining , neither did he study petrochemical engineering . He also doesn’t hold a masters degree in energy economics .

Today Dangote is building a refinery that he hopes to see working in the nearest future amassing a whole lot of capital gains.

Now think of his whole petroleum refinery adventure not working out after he has committed capital from his other businesses , other investors money and even venture capitalists . Who do u think will be blamed for his woes ? You think it’s the chemical engineering graduates he and his HR handpicked to manage the business ? Of course not , it’s Dangote the chairman , his board of directors who kept on ratifying decisions that affect day to day running of the business and maybe the management director who also reports to the board.

That is management at the top level .

If u still don’t get it , just look at Abrahmovic’s management of Chelsea and see how he’s been proactive making sure his investments yield whatever form of gain he desires at each point in time ( be it UCL , EPL, UEL, etc)

Exactly his only fault is employing people like Arteta, edu cos they are incapable of changing things

Not just employing them , but keeping them on the job even when they give little or no result at all.

The day I stopped blaming Arteta was the day the CEO came out and said they were fully behind Arteta and will be trusting the process . Na that day I stop to dey criticize an unnecessarily. U have a very inexperienced coach that can’t seem to manage the resources at his disposal to optimum usage and then u come out to openly declare 100% support for him instead of looking at possibility of getting a better manager for ur resources .... to dey blame the manager no just make sense to me

In my opinion, I don't think it's necessary to say anything again. I mean Auba is no longer his player again, anything he(Arteta) wants to say will just be unnecessary noise which is not needed tbh
