na the facebook people worst pass. they are bunch of unserious element there. they will whyn you and waste your precious time and not buy anytime.... I hardly make any sales from facebook, as i prefer JIJI over them, just that JIJI don they Bleep up as you cant post more than one product now except you pay for the platform.

As for the wallpaper I can always get another customer that will buy it but the linoleum has been cut into the square meter he want. Selling it won't be easy but God will bring a customer that will buy it.

make a report to fccpc with the evidence of transaction and customer details then send you should not just give it up some Nigerians are heartless sha...

The first thing to do in this kind of business is to put mechanisms in place;
1. Mechanism to ascertain if your customer is willing and able to pay
2. Mechanism to intimate your customer on the terms and conditions of service in a reasonable way

This is for both vendors and customers.

By the way, I suspect this your customer had intention of buying but he is not the end users. He is merely doing "drop shipping".

See aunty , some people are naturally wicked and not easy to please. I once warebilled a game to someone in Aba and that's when he knew he wont be buying it again. Sorry for that

So sorry about this, sis. It's so painful o. It's a good thing you've learnt your lessons. Anybody who makes you go through unnecessary stress and lots of insatiable demands while doing business is a RED FLAG.

Don't be tempted by quick sales. Your God-given customers will come and they will not stress you.

As for the vermin that did this to you, God will reward him in 10 folds.

I feel you can report this to Network subscriber (MTN,AIRTEL, GLO..) that the scammer is using.

They will get his details and equally report this to police as well.

Very terrible people. Please always insist they pay before taking the item to them. I have learnt my lesson and won't want anyone to make the mistake I made. If they can't trust you with their money please don't trust them too.

That is one of the sad reality in online business especially when you don't have a well structured pay on delivery sales pattern to accommodate unavoidable loses due to irrational clients. My advise is, never you get too tempted to ship goods out without at least getting some financial commitment from the client. Pick & pay, pay & we send or pay % and we send. One can not also totally blame clients who insist on pay on delivery because of some obvious in the online world.

it’s a two way thing. Seller can get paid too and they fail to deliver, the best option here is escrow

my case is different, i have sent mine to him as agreed, he is meant to go to the park and pick after checking and confirming the item, i have a developed relationship with the store keeper at the park, when the item got to the park, called him to go pick, oga said i should grt a rider to bring it to him at his work, i said that's not possible, I don't know the rider in that area, he agreed to pick today...7/02/2022, then trying to reaching he is not responding to my calls, sent me a message that he has blocked me on WhatsApp, am like......

It is always advisable to use escrow especially with new customers that want to buy anything. Let them make payment to the escrow, when escrow confirms the payment, that is when you should make a move.

That’s what I do.

I discovered this habit in every Nigerian. Once they have what they needed, paying you will be stories.

Tell the customer what you have gone through before that cancel. Tell the customer next time you won't accept such form. Me I go talk my mind.

Next time collect money first... before sending it

Your own is even good. We sent products to someone last week Wednesday, he went to the park, collected the items and blocked all of us including the driver and the store keepers. Very wicked soul. After threatening him, he sent only N35,400 instead of N38,400 as agreed. When we asked about the balance, this guy claimed that what he sent is 38 not 35. So, I now have 'number blindness' abi?.

The vendor does not trust the customer to pay after delivery.

The customer does not trust the vendor to supply if payment is made before delivery.

I postulate that the level of trust in a country is directly proportional to economic development.

Its a 2 way thing. Some people have also sent money and got nothing in the past.
Inasmuch as i dont support what the guy did, its just an experience u have to take.
I would advice u sell to people in lagos and ogun state for now.
When your service is tested and trusted, referals will come and people from other states can send money to u before delivery.
Presently, if u are not jumia, konga, or any reputable vendor, there is no way i will pay u before delivery.

Even jumia ,for me it's pay on delivery or I pick it up at their office.

That was how I paid one guy here on Naira for a Logo design and he blocked me after he received the alert without a design.

I do pay before delivery if it is an oversea item.
Moreover, they have a good return and refund policy incaseu dont like what they deliver. Those ones are safer than paying someone u met online for an item.
