OlujobaSamuel:Get back to what? Me that is very blunt, when she says how is it your business, I will tell her, she is very rude and should get out of my sight! |

KOPArespect:Hers is still redeemable! Op's experience is very irredeemable imo. So the comparison is not in order here. |

Mystery9:questiining someones private life is not allowed anywhere? Keep questions professional. If someone question my private life and how I cope with work and school to him/her it will be impossible, but na me no how I dey run my thing. |

While I agree that she doesn't sound ready or a good fit, many of the questions you asked are illegal in other countries and will get you in trouble for discrimination. Where do you live? what street? are you married? etc. is none of your business. Having said that she also doesn't sound like someone you want to hire so good call. OlujobaSamuel: |

ttmacoy:Tracing people in the Nigeria informal sector is so tedious and expensive. Asking where a potential employee that I will entrust with money lives or seeking for clarification over a red flag noticed while discussing with her is not wrong. I once had to fill my spouse details in securing a credit facility from a bank. The name of my Church (specific assembly I worshipped) was also requested for. In countries you are referring to, there are ways to easily get people's background check without having to ask in person. |

OlujobaSamuel:You handled it 95% well. You should have explained to her why you asked the questions that stunned her. You know, people have different mentalities and different ways of handling private questions. A simple explanation can go a long way toward quelling tensions. |

Poleski:Thanks. I should have looked into that, probably her previous response and gestures never made me to. I will try to be more patient next time. Thanks |
